sad loss of Andy Fletcher,at just 60 years.. Basildon's finest. Not exactly critically acclaimed when they first came out. Developed their sound over time and became massive in America. Regularly played on Radio 6, which in my books means you have achieved 'being cool' (or whatever the correct terminology is these days). RIP Andy Fletcher. |

underrated group on the Motown Label She was the original singer with the Elgins. Yup...have a couple of their early singles and an album,the name Elgins was used by an earlier " Doo wap " group. Before the group with Saundra as the lead singer were created, thought she had such a wonderful voice |

The Kinks - Waterloo Sunset Waterloo Sunset and Autumn Almanac are two of my favourite tracks. They are so "English". Which being a proud Englishman (so devastatingly politically incorrect), I rather like. |
