Some banter elsewhere about Oasis... a tad over-rated IMHO. My favourite track of theirs is Wonderwall. But I like the Mike Pops Flowers version best... cheesey brilliance

Just gone midnight. Good day today / yesterday (weather, friends, family, cycling, cider). It's my 'go to'. Just not enough bossa nova these days...

The better version of the Mike Flowers original He would appear to be ridiculing Mike Pops Flowers. Unbelievable Jeff.

our youngest Brother's most favoured band, seen them many times, we lost him 10m years ago this year, Good call. I had a cassette of the Saw Doctors many moons ago - and I'm not sure why. Reminds me of the west country "and I wish I was on the N-17, stone walls and the grass is green"...

The genius of Jeff Lynne
Recently voted the happiest song of all time
43 years ago when life in this country was anything but happy and Rovers lost 9-0, still, at least it wasn't on telly, no wait.....

Classic 80s new wave/electropop/Ultravox from Visage.
Not at all weird video from the late Steve Strange and Visage.
Video directed by Godley and Creme
