Over 1000 artists have covered, 'Hi-Heel Sneakers.' The song has been used in countless film soundtracks and of course has been relentlessly used in commercials. Robert Higginbotham aka Tommy Tucker wrote the song; what a great opening line: "Put on your red dress, mama—'cause you're going out tonight."His version is far superior to the other 999 in my very humble opinion. Although I would add that I have not heard all of the other 999 versions.   |
