Yeah, unbelievable. I don't think I appreciated them enough when they started, but I still listen to them now and that's not the case for most of the stuff I was listening to then. There's a decent film knocking around about them starting up, during the troubles, worth a watch.

Face The Flag by Hardware.
A couple of members from Cheltenhams Hardware went on to play in Pig Bag.They also hand some connection with Bristols The Pop Group.
Hardware were really very good and were right up there,as good as eg The Pop Group .Some would say.
"Damn your eyes,face the flag".
Edit. For those that may of bought records and CDs from the Bristol shop Revolver,the main man there,Roger.He played in Hardware.

Perfect example of a build up song BT. I was lucky enough to see The Pixies on their first UK tour at Birmingham. I've the new Kim Deal album paid and ordered.Think it's out in November.
