Rovers vs WSM seemed a shoo-in for the TV, but the BBC know better.

Rovers vs WSM seemed a shoo-in for the TV, but the BBC know better. Only two there that would 'stir the emotions ' obviously the ' dons' and to me Worthing v Morecambe, as Morecambe are having a rough start to the season and being away to a fairly consistent mid table NL/s team , good chance of an upset there imv

Great pricing structure announced for FA Cup Round 1 v W.S.M.: SeatedAdults | £16 Concessions | £11 U14s | £6 StandingAdults | £11 Concessions | £6 U14s | £1 www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/ticketing-information-confirmed-fa-cup-clash-weston-super-mareBut, but ... only the North and West sides of the ground open to Rovers fans. East Stand closed. East Terrace closed. South Stand closed to Rovers fans. If I want a seat my choice is either the West Stand or the the side Family Stand alongside it. Looks like we won't be going. Are the club deliberately trying to drive supporters away?!?

W.S.M. today sold out their initial allocation of 1,350 tickets.
They had a crowd of 1,258 for their home 0-0 draw against Boreham Wood.

I guess they were allowed to buy more than one ticket per person. Although, there may have been some who turned up at the ground, bought an FA Cup ticket when it went from season-ticket holders to general sale, and then went home without watching the Boreham Wood game.

I've watched WSM a couple of times this season (away at Enfield Town, lost 1-0 and home to Chelmsford City, won 2-0). Surprised to see them up to 2nd in the National League South. Win their game in hand and they go top. Obviously on a good run of form and certainly won't be rolling over against anyone. Reuben Reid up front for them - though see he came off the bench for their last win. With a good away following should provide a good atmosphere at the Mem.

They've started to put East Stand Block B on sale now.

Just had a look on the official forum, at the situation in the East stand for the WSM game. They opened block A yesterday which has nearly sold out, so they promptly opened block B and that`s almost sold out too. By God, they know how to read the room, this football club of ours.

Not entirely correct. They haven't opened the whole of Block B yet. As Block A was being taken up, they then started making Block B available - so far just the first 4 seats across each row, from the left, as you look at it. But I agree with your sentiments!

There will be groups of family or friends who want to sit next to each other. Someone will admin rights needs to log in on their day of rest!

Having visited Fisher FC - transpires that (debatably) their biggest ever game was in the FA Cup against Rovers in 1988. What a lineup that was. Parkin in for Martyn and Saunders in for Penrice - and pretty much the rest of them were still playing together 4 years later. Attachments:
