Opportunity to ask questions to MT GF and other club officials in the Bristol bar 7 to 8pm.
Who's going?
Ps it clashes with Rovers Strikers event at BAWA club at the same time. Pity that

Bristol Rovers announce details for fan's forum on the back of hectic summer of recruitment..By Daniel Hargraves
Bristol Rovers will hold a fan's forum later this week with a number of key figures at the club set to be on the paneli2-prod.bristolpost.co.uk/incoming/article9540363.ece/ALTERNATES/s1176b/0_PPA_Bristol_Rovers_v_Cambridge_United_310824_007.jpgBristol Rovers have announced that a fan's forum will take place this Thursday September 12th which will allow supporters to put questions towards a number of senior personell at the football club. On the board will be manager Matt Taylor, Director of Football George Friend, Director of Commerical and Revenue Richie Bates and a member of the first-team squad with questions asked to be submitted prior to the event. Rovers last held a fan's forum in March, although it was labelled as a 'fan's Q&A' and was an event organised by the Bristol Rovers Supporters Club, with Taylor, Friend, Executive Vice President Abdullatif AlSaeed, former CEO Tom Gorringe and former player Antony Evans on the panel. A variety of topics were dicussed that evening with the redevelopment of The Mem and The Quarters a major point of discussion, as well as the club's finances. Gorringe left his role with the Gas at the end of last month having spent seven years at the club while Bates' arrival was announced at the same time as the former CEO's departure. The Rovers Director of Commerical and Revenue has 12 years of EFL experience having had spells at Port Vale, Lincoln City and Mansfield Town and oversees partnerships, retail, ticketing and revenue. Based on the panel, the assumption is that a good deal of the questions will relate to the recent transfer window and plans for future recruitment on the back of a hectic summer. In what was Friend's first transfer window in his role, the Gas signed 16 players with the current squad looking considerably different to the group of players that were at the club when last season ended. The event will be held in the Bristol Bar at The Mem and will run from 7pm to 8pm with doors opening at 6:30pm. Rovers have made the tickets free of charge on their official website but state that they must be claimed and registered prior to the event. It has also been confirmed that the fan's forum will be filmed and made available free to watch on the club's BRTV channel on Friday.

There’s a bit of feedback on this at the other place. Reads to me like the club did a decent job (and apologised for the short m Notice)

you can agree or disagree with what they are saying and what's being done, but this seems like top engagement to me I'm guessing that they chose Bryant as he's a new face, plus his personality has (like his play sometimes) got a bit of box office about it www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/watch-fans-forum-september-2024

Just caught up watching. Very good. Very impressive.
Refreshing to see that the first thing Richie said in reply to the questions about charging for season cards was to offer an apology, even though he wasn't at the club the time of the decision. He admitted it was wasn't right to sell season tickets and then change the conditions afterwards. This is completely opposite to the email reply I had at the time, which basically doubled-down on the decision, and couldn't even acknowledge it was poor customer service.
Also good to hear a continuation of the clubs environmental policy, with Richie citing digital season tickets, bags in the club shop, and the programme. However, it was rather ironic to have 6 plastic water bottles on the tables. Surely they've got their own refill bottles, and Irene's Kitchen was 10 feet away with running water!! :-)
One suggestion I'd have is for 360 degree feedback to some questions. For instance, Caz (HerGameToo) asked what the club's plans were to continue and improve inclusivity. That's a chance, within that forum, for the top table to ask back if the person has any suggestions, or quick wins, that they can provide.
EDIT: Oh, and one negative - they all apologised for the short notice, but it was rather strange to hold it the same night as the Rovers Strikers Legends Night, up the road at the BAWA club.

There's no way digital cards are anything to do with being environmentally friendly!
