Would you go back to posting on there or would you stay on here?
Personally I would rather stay here because we have none of the over sensitive censorship that existed on the OF. (I got suspended once because I posted a rumour I heard that Ward had been sacked). I can't imagine the very interesting threads we have had on the Sainsburys problems would have survived intact on the OF.

No way would I go back. Not after what was done and, more importantly, how it was done

Closed, open or in my lady's garden - the OF can f**k itself along with all involved in it.

Would you have him back? Pipe I mean! If Chris Lines became a Mod on the reopened OF, would you go back on it?

Better Together. I agree that its a pain having two busy forums now rather than one but apart from that I cannot see any reason to mourn the OF. In fact I don't understand why so many people got their knickers in a twist when it closed. We never had freedom of speech on the OF. Most clubs forums are separate from the club and that is exactly how it should be.

I wouldn't go back unless everyone else went. I hardly bother going on the Official Site any more - maybe once a week, and it's hardly a riveting read.
If they couldn't even respond to an e-mail about the closure of the Official Forum from a fan of 42 years, it is plain that the Official side of the club isn't interested in me. At a more general level, the Club's apparent perspective on the fans as idiots who will turn up and give them money regardless of the product seems to me to be short-term and naïve. As a result of this attitude I have chosen not to put any more money into the Club's coffers and so far I haven't. This has already saved me well over £100 (if you include petrol). If you extrapolate to a full season, it will be around £750, of which around 2/3 would have gone to Higgs and his boys.
I have only seen the Gas once this season, at FGR. Sadly, I haven't missed it enough to make me want to change my perspective. My next definite game will be Aldershot Away on October 14th (the next time that they come within a sensible distance of my home), although I might go to Eastleigh/Braintree if I have nothing better to do.
If this no longer makes me a true supporter - I was not the one who drove me here.

At least people on here have a clue and tell it how it is.

This is the true BRFC forum. As far as I am concerned it's liniage goes back to 2006 when the OF was first shut by GoD because he couldn't handle opinions that dffered from his.
If the OF re-opened to be honest I would just go on there to take the **** and see how long it took me to get banned again.

It could never reopen as there was then not enough officials to moderate it, since when there have been many redundancies.

I think two forums is probably one too many, so I wouldn't join a third! And you know that when the going got thought the Board would just shut it agains. Sorry - as the old song goes "once bitten twice shy babe!"
