8pm Jacob Rees-Mogg Mon-Thurs 8pm. A highly articulate presenter discusses politics with left wing and right wing politicians. I particularly like Peter Tatchell when he is on. They discuss points. They don't interrupt each other. They respect each other, and each others opinions. Now they might agree to disagree, but it is done via civilised debate. It is funny, entertaining and thought provoking. I think this is exactly what Lord Reith had in mind. Not the biased, anti-semitic, far left wing woke brigade that has infected the output of the once proud BBC. Not watched jrm Epping , seen him on tv & he always seems a very knowledgable person , reasonable , prepared to listen to other peoples points of view , this hate for him is just your normal leftie crap you always get .

JRM needed help and protection at Cardiff University, after giving a talk.
Pro Palestine ( no doubt Hamas supporters ) had to be held back from attacking the GB News man.
We've known about the disgusting Left and further Left infiltration of of Universities for years now.
Threats and violence.

Remind you of anyone ๐๐๐. I remember a few years ago some poor old Jewish gent who had been in a concentration camp was manhandled and dragged out of a Labour party conference... Mosley said that Fascism comes from the left,Mussolini started out as a commie and plenty of other Fascists and National Socialists too. Lefties spout about democracy until the vote goes against them (ie Brexit) same with freedom of speech, hypocrites that they are.

Ofcom GB News update.
Ofcom won't be closing down GB News anytime soon.
Complainants say how can eg Nigel Farage present a show when there's an election coming up? The station is Right Wing bias. Etc.
They've ( Ofcom ) ,basically told the likes of Nick Robinson ,'we don't close stations down because you don't like or agree with them'. "...that's not the kind of country we live in".
Good. Commonsense from Ofcom.
Hopefully this will shut up the snivelling bellyaching Messrs Robinson,Neil and Boulton.

If GB News lie, or slander, then there is legal recourse, let alone OFCOM. What they do is present the world from the 'right' perspective (excuse the pun), rather than from a 'left' perspective (BBC, Sky) or far left perspective (Channel 4). They also invite left wing commentators on to discuss issues. The left are effectively trying to suppress freedom of speech. It really is that simple.

GB News could face Ofcom punishment after breach..Steven McIntosh, Entertainment reporter.d2uuuneafwcujf.cloudfront.net/images/2024/02/Sunak-on-GB-News-800x450.pngOfcom has said it is considering a statutory sanction against GB News, after the channel was found to have broken due impartiality rules. The broadcast regulator announced in February it was investigating a Q&A session which saw Prime Minister Rishi Sunak take questions from the public. On Monday, Ofcom said it had concluded the programme, called People's Forum: The Prime Minister, broke its broadcasting rules. "Given this represents a serious and repeated breach of these rules, we are now starting the process for consideration of a statutory sanction against GB News," Ofcom said. In a statement posted on its website, GB News said: , external"The upcoming general election will be decided by the people of Britain, not journalists, not Ofcom regulators, but ordinary people. "That is why GB News decided to host a Peopleโs Forum with Rishi Sunak earlier this year, to allow citizens a chance to directly challenge and interrogate their Prime Minister." The broadcast regulator said the episode received a total of 547 complaints and was "presented in the context of the forthcoming UK general election". Ofcom had "no issue with this programme's editorial format in principle", it said in its ruling. "We recognised that this programme would focus mainly on the Conservative Party's policies and track record on a number of specific issues, meaning that Conservative viewpoints would be prevalent. "We are clear that this, in and of itself, did not mean the programme could not comply with due impartiality rules under the code. "It was incumbent on GB News, however, given the major matters under discussion, to ensure that an appropriately wide range of significant views was given due weight in the programme or in other clearly linked and timely programmes." d2uuuneafwcujf.cloudfront.net/images/2023/12/Sunak-private-jet-2.jpgThe regulator noted the Labour Party's positions and views were not included, and nor was there a reference to any future programme where they would be. Ofcom concluded: "We found that an appropriately wide range of significant viewpoints was not presented and given due weight in this case. "As a result, Rishi Sunak had a mostly uncontested platform to promote the policies and performance of his government in a period preceding a UK general election." The prime minister has said there will be a general election in the second half of 2024. According to its website,, external Ofcom's sanctions could see the broadcast regulator: impose a financial penalty shorten a licence revoke a licence issue a direction not to repeat a programme issue a direction to broadcast a correction or a statement of Ofcomโs finding The broadcast regulator has found GB News in breach of its rules 12 times since it launched in 2021. There are seven investigations still outstanding, including one into a programme hosted by its former presenter Dan Wootton in relation to fairness and privacy rules. An episode of Nigel Farage's show is being investigated for due impartiality. Other programmes, including Breakfast with Eamonn [Holmes] and Isabel [Webster] are being investigated under rules about due impartiality and broadcaster views/opinions. In March, Ofcom told the channel it was "on notice" over future breaches. The regulator warned repeated contraventions of the relevant part of its code could lead to a sanction.

They're still after GB News.๐ The far left will do anything to try and shut down a channel which does not slavishly follow the woke narrative. They are looking to suppress freedom of speech. I watched coverage of 'the breach' yesterday. Jacob Rees-Mogg drove a truck through the allegations. Laughable. It would be genuinely funny if it wasn't so close to George Orwell's 1984. "Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right". At least in 1984 they simply renamed statues. In 2024 they throw them in the river. Apparently attempting to destroy public property is no longer a criminal offence.

I wonder what you might consider a Right Wing tv perspective then Itdgas? There are still right wing views expressed on GB News as far as I can tell. Ofcom breathing down their necks may of made them 'careful',I don't know but, they are to challenge Ofcom in court. That does'nt sound like the actions of any bodies "mouthpiece ".
