I'm really confused as to why Mike, who writes such excellent and reliable books, makes such an arse of himself on here Come in (or out) the real Mike, your time is up He’s got a ghost writer I reckon 😂 Spot on The Ghost of Christmas Past is the first spirit to visit Scrooge after the ghost of Marley. It arrives as the clock chimes one.

Why all the way to Dublin for a Xmas party? Why not three courses in the Inn On The Green, then down the Gloucester Road and left along Cheltenham Road?

Well it's on the Bristol Live site now so must be true. Whelan has tweeted he has left. Whelan left before Taylor arrived. This Bristol Live reporter is a bit slow.

Pity about Whelan. Has always struck me as a consummate pro, always gave us 100% and appeared to be a positive influence in the dressing room especially with the younger players. I will remember his time here with fondness, wish him well and welcome him back anytime. Whether or not he will be a good coach only time will tell.
Did Mangan do any wrong in his time here other than being Barton’s buddy? I have no opinion on Ventre but Bond did seem to be able to sort us defensively.
Having said all of the above, it is only right that Taylor gets to pick the backroom staff he will work best with. One Tisdale/Widdrington situation is one too many. However I would expect him to be able to work with and get the best from good people already here rather than totally deconstructing everything

Post the previous manager... There was always a risk that a new management setup would want to have a complete clear out of the 'scouse mafia'. Sounds like Hussain Al-Saeed wants rid. That's his call and we have to respect that. This risk was pointed out in the very long Thread pertaining to the previous manager and the ridiculous amount of control he had at the Club. No-one likes to say "I told you so". Except me. "I told you so". "I told you so". "I told you so". "I told you so". Good luck to Mangan, Whelan, Ventre etc etc. As for the previous manager - nope, can't even remember his name.
