How’s about, at the half way stage, that every punter gets to have another go - so using you as an example 5 poInts is looking unlikely to be correct so your second guess could be say 10 and if happened to be the correct number then you will have one correct answer which could be enough for you to snatch victory if nobody else goes for 10. So in my position I am not going to change my number and my second guess is 8 again which if right would give me two correct answers -Even 0ldie adrift at the bottom was to go max 13 and nobody else did then he could steal it Might be worth considering as everyone would still be in with a chance of winning. Tut tut tote end, when you were populated there were honourable winners and losers plucking their predictions from balance of probability. Ahhhhh, the mid 80s and prior... Nowadays everyone wins and there are no losers. I say boooo to that, keep simple format. If you win you win, if you lose you lose, and if you're somewhere in between then so be it....but if you wanna have a second third fourth or sometimes fifth (because we sometimes enter a fifth week) guess, please be my guest. |
