It was costing 20+ billion PER YEAR just to be a member of the EU. Of course there were existing financial commitments that had to be paid, and it is only right and proper that we paid them. This is just poor reporting and.just feeds your confirmation bias 😂😂😂 Tut tut Nobby, still repeating false information. That total, in itself debatable, was discounted by least £4.5 billion in rebates. It was around half that figure once the rebate and other reinvestment was accounted for. That reinvestment went to poorer areas of the UK and often farming subsidies, both of which the government stopped funding shortly afterwards. |

Coming from someone who monitors other poster's posting hours, accusations of stalking or trolling are a bit rich. I'm doing neither, but I will challenge posts where I think it's appropriate, I'm sure you aren't concerned about that.
