Not just the results but the performances in the first 3 games are instilling a level of confidence in the team and excitement within Gasheads. I have a feeling we'll win this one by 2 clear goals. I'm cautious of getting overconfident though, as us ageing Gasheads know only too well, Rovers have a habit of disappointing just when it seems we're on the up and up. UTG! ![GVTFTGV](//storage.proboards.com/5622478/images/4fK6LT33G19kONXHuIDo.gif) Wise words , that many should take heed of. I was always drawn to the older gents and their stories but also listened when they told of caution. Seems you were ahead of yourself jeff

2-0 Awful game, awful performance, awful result Barton has been tactically out-thought. It's not been pretty but Cambridge deserved this just by sticking to their game plan. Don’t you think that Barton is trying to walk before he runs, in his pursuit of high level possession. And in tier 3 ? This is not the league where playing high possession football will always pays off and you will need games where route one will be the best option but he seems to think otherwise. My own view is, just like Wael needs trustworthy and sound advisors around him, Barton needs the same. If left to his devices then we can expect this to happen and more often as it seems we got sussed by xmas off last season. Like him or loathe him, he is a very stubborn one dimensional manager. The last team i saw get out of this league playing, mostly, possession football were Coventry and then, they had other ways to play, if needed.
