When Port Vale played here their commentator on BBC Radio Stoke said 'None of the stands match or are co-ordinated in any way and the main stand reminds me of a cricket Pavilion.' Oddly that, as I was returning from Dortmund, met up with a young Vale fan and he said that the " feeling" that Rovers eminate at some grounds is admired and " wished for" by some clubs, something is right somewhere...⚽⚽

That photo really brings home what a cobbled together Stadium looks like. You're a fantasist, TaiwanGas. 'Cobbled together'?! I dream of the Memorial Ground finally being cobbled together! One day, friend, one day, we will achieved the promised land, of a properly cobbled together Memorial Ground. Hope remains. Amen.

Thinking back to the Tote End at Eastville it had x3 differing Cover Structures (when stood on it facing the pitch) The main Tote, the Cowshed to the right, and a small covered corner to the left with open gaps between.

I remember watching the Council meeting on t'interweb, and being delighted with the outcome (several of the speeches were impressive, including by some councillors who looked decidedly scruffy but could speak well) how naive we were
