So question is why bring him back in when the defence has been solid in the games when he wasn't available? From what Ive heard 4 at the back with Gibson and Connolly in the middle appeared to be working well. The latter seemed to be finding form again. For me Quansah is a classy player, but he perhaps has lapses in concentration occasionally and also, his judgement of high balls coming at the defence appears hesitant. He is capable of brilliant recovery tackles but he could be dealing with the original high ball better. He's young and only ever played EFL football at Rovers. He'll improve,he has a certain amount of class. I would'nt get alarmist about his selection. That may well be. You were right about having a hand in both of Weds goals, he was not sharp enough last night, and even when trying to recover from the mistakes he looked slow, but he is a young and a good player, and will learn, I agree with Smegma on this one.

I think we'd played well and we're getting better. Wednesdays goals were avoidable, poor defending and I suspect Quansah played apart in both. We played some good passing football and at a decent tempo. Josh and Aaron look like their form is improving again. We're on the right road. UTG! So question is why bring him back in when the defence has been solid in the games when he wasn't available? From what Ive heard 4 at the back with Gibson and Connolly in the middle appeared to be working well. The latter seemed to be finding form again. I think we look much better playing 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 like we were in the second half I don't get the Loft and Coburn thing up front. They are too similar to me and I think restrict each other. Coburn seemed freed up once Coburn went off and was more effective. Play one of them and get Collins/Sinclair/Anderson etc either side and around that one, like earlier in the season

It’s all well and good passing the ball around at the back if it is a positive effort to open the channels for the midfield or forwards to run onto the ball. We are not doing that we piss about inviting the opposition forward causing a press and as we’ve seen all too often force a mistake and score. The second half more than demonstrated the enormous difference both from an attacking and defensive viewpoint. I wonder about the enthusiasm for ending the season well giving the youngsters much needed experience, well, those involved are unlikely to be here, Bogarde, Coburn, Quansah, Gibson in particular will return to their clubs leaving massive holes to be filled, again.

I agree, I guess we should be happy that our loanees have played so well, but, on the other hand, if they all leave, and do not return, we are back to major reset again. And we seldom hit the ground running.

So what was the crowd, 8724 or 9003? And how many did Sheff Wed bring? (Not including those who were where they shouldn't be...)
