I'm suggesting Boots have made a mistake by hiring this actress. Fans of the Monarchy ( how many? ) may well boycott Boots this Christmas and shop elsewhere. I think Superdrug will make a pretty good Christmas shopping profit. Boots have slipped up. To be honest, few will understand the connection, fewer will care. I think this is more to the point Baldrick. ITV not supporting the thousands that complained about the womans "terribly white" comment is up to them.Accepted.They are Woke. However, thousands disagreed with Boots decision to use this actress in their Christmas advert.

It's personal opinion and factually correct, and what should ITV "support"? The complaints went to Ofcom.

There is word for it, begins with R.

They are like indoctrinated religious zealots, to them there is only one story, the story they want to believe, or what somebody tells them to believe. Exactly like those who would prescribe literal translations of text written centuries ago.

Over 8000 complaints. What made you think no one would notice or be interested in this, especially as you're so wrong?

The backlash over an advert, fabricated dislike over something like that. It's a non event. What is it you don't like about it?

I'll put it on here, probably belongs here at least a bit. King Charles III Coronation, ITV. Do you remember the black actress,Adjoa Andoh, saying how very white the Royal Family are. Just to say this actress is starring in the Boots Christmas advert. Hmm. I wonder if her appearance will help, hinder or make no difference to Christmas sales? Fancy the British Royal Family being "terribly white"! This is my first post on the subject. Have Boots slipped up I suggested? It seems they have.

You have seen it, haven't you?
