I did'nt see the Ipswich game as a "must win" and I don't see the visit of Burton A as one either.I think the phrase gets overused abit.Having said that another heart warming performance to see our recovery continue would be most welcome.
Achtung! Albion are mid table of the form division,a few places above us.
I hope Lamare Bogarde starts again,I thought him very good Tuesday and he did link well with Grant Ward.As a duo they were a link from the defence, then to forward play.It took a while, but Joe has discovered a decent support to the Finley Rossitter double act.
Ellery Balcombe had a solid game and as we know,he is now Rovers number 'one'.Good to hear James is back in the squad and availablefor selection.
Gibbons,Harry,Scott etc, you might think it difficult to change the starting 11 from Tuesday.
Gibson might be available for selection. Couttsy? Albion will probably be a tough nut to crack, but we appear to be getting our eye back in.
Looking forward to it!
Come on Rovers!

Unlike Ipswich, whose form made it relatively easy to predict a draw on Tuesday night, Burton however, are not as they are consistently all over the place.
Their 30 fans will not help their cause, so the result could once again come down to the quality of the officials.
Nevertheless, the fast improving Gas should have enough guile to come home with the bacon!

I very much hope Ellery gets 100% support from the Mem crowd.
JB has reminded some EB is representing Bristol Rovers.

He is a young lad who is learning his trade and needs our full support when selected. We should have much more class than to undermine him by singing another Keeper's name. I really did not enjoy hearing that at Morecambe.

Lincoln City defender Lewis Montsma has been banned for three games after admitting a charge of violent conduct on Bristol Rovers defender James Connolly.
Gas manager Joey Barton fumed after the game last Saturday, believing several key decisions – which he described as "soul-destroying" – went against his team including Ryan Loft's red card in the first half and the subsequent decision not to dismiss Montsma after catching Connolly with his arm in the 81st minute
After the conclusion of the 1-0 defeat at Sincil Bank, Barton took to Twitter to vent his anger, posting a video that clearly showed Monstma swinging his arm into the face of the Gas defender.
Barton told reporters the club would send footage of the incident to the Football Association and on Friday it was announced Montsma had been punished for his actions.
"Lincoln City's Lewis Montsma has been suspended for three matches following an incident in their EFL League One game against Bristol Rovers on February 11," an FA spokesman said.
"The defender's behaviour in the 81st minute was not seen by the match officials, but it was caught on camera and he subsequently admitted that it constitutes violent conduct.
"Lewis Montsma contested the automatic penalty for violent conduct but an independent regulatory commission maintained that it applies during a subsequent hearing."

We have only played Burton 12 times since 2011, W4, D3, L5, Biggest win 7-1 (Eliot Richards 3, Matt Harrold 2), loss 2-0..
Burton Albion were founded in 1950, they play their home games at the Pirelli Stadium which has a capacity of 6,912.
Tunisian manager Dino Maamria is 48 and played most of his career 278 games at non-league level, Burton are his 6th club he has managed.
Following promotion to the Football League, local rivalries with Port Vale, Notts County, Chesterfield and Walsall have arisen.
Much travelled Mustapha Carayol played 35 games for BRFC scoring 6 goals over 10 years ago, Burton are his 16th club.
Most famous ex-manager was of course Nigel Clough who managed in 937 games over 2 spells.
Burton are currently in 19th place, BRFC are in 14th place..

After a morale-boosting draw against Ipswich Town in midweek, Bristol Rovers’ attention turns to Burton Albion and getting back on a winning run.
The Gas are six games without a win in all competitions, but Joey Barton saw plenty of encouraging signs in the performance against promotion-chasing Ipswich on Tuesday.
However, Burton are sure to be an entirely different challenge. The Brewers are sure to set up in a low block and they will be difficult to break down and Barton’s players will be tasked with playing on the front foot.
Here is how they could line up at the Mem this afternoon…
Goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe delivered his best performance of his Rovers career so far on Tuesday and he will keep his place in the XI. James Belshaw is expected to be back in the squad after Barton drew a line under the situation that saw him left out of Tuesday’s game.
In defence Barton could keep faith with the same back four that he has started with for the past two games. That would see James Gibbons and Lewis Gordon as the full-backs, with Jarell Quansah and James Connolly in the middle.
Luca Hoole and Calum Macdonald, still waiting for his Gas debut, are likely to be on the bench, but Lewis Gibson is not quite ready to return from a thigh injury.
Midfield Sam Finley will serve the final game of a three-match suspension today, and Paul Coutts is unlikely to come straight back in after missing two games with an illness.
A trio of Grant Ward as the six with Antony Evans and Lamare Bogarde were effective on Tuesday and they are set to keep their places, with Luke McCormick likely to play some part from the bench.
Jerry Lawrence could make the squad again after being in the matchday 18 for Tuesday’s game following a loan spell at Salisbury. Glenn Whelan is also an option, but Jordan Rossiter remains unavailable with a knee injury.
Attack Aaron Collins led the line as a lone striker on Tuesday, but he will have more support in this game. If Josh Coburn is passed fit to start after playing as a sub on Tuesday due to a knee niggle, the nine-goal striker should return.
He could play as part of a three-man attack with Collins to one side and Scott Sinclair on the other.
It would be extremely harsh on Harry Anderson if he misses out, but he would be an excellent option off the bench. John Marquis, too, is set to be among the subs, while Ryan Loft serves the second game of a three-match suspension.
Rovers (4-3-3): Ellery Balcombe; James Gibbons, Jarell Quansah, James Connolly, Lewis Gordon; Grant Ward, Lamare Bogarde, Antony Evans; Aaron Collins, Josh Coburn, Scott Sinclair.

I really did not enjoy hearing that at Morecambe. It’s a very poor show all round, and arguably without last years player of the season, we would still be in division 4. Having competition for places is fine, however I can only assume the two JB’s had a fall out which resulted in that one shocker of a performance. Since then there’s been a lot of water under the bridge, however EB is now the shirt holder and based on his last performance deservedly so. The initial loyalty to Belly is understandable, nevertheless we inadvertently ended up with what was presumably intended, so game on. UTG

Halfway through the season, JB knows our goals conceded Column is too big. His opinion ,James could of done better and it was possible we signed better. So we've got Ellery,a top division gk. James reacted badly to now not being our number '1',buthas since got his act together.Fair play to him. It's JBs job and ambition to get Rovers in at least the 2nd tier.He must get the best players he can,not only to keep our general upwards trajectory going, but to keep his job. So selection is hard but fair to all players. That's cricket. 👍

Going to be interesting game after Ipswich with Burton on a bit of a run 3 wins from 4 and we seem to struggle against lower clubs. Don't think it will be as free flowing as Tuesday night or as open. Let's hope the Mem gets behind the players and they give the Thatcher's something to cheer about! UTG
