Very good, but it felt like there was too much crammed in. Ours won't be quite as full an evening, but it will be fun, and entertaining.

Just to let people know, that you can now buy tickets in the Legion over the bar. Opening hours are 12 noon - 11pm, with the exception of Sundays, when they close at 10pm I believe. If you wish to call them first to check they're open, the number is 01458 442873.

A quick question for anyone thinking about this event. If pay on the door was an option, would you be more inclind to go? We are considering making it an option, so would value your feedback.

POSTPONEMENT OF THIS EVENT UNTIL SUNDAY, MAY 21ST. Due to slow ticket sales, and clashing with another event locally, we have decided to change the date of this event.
It will give you more time to plan your travel plans to come along...

Hi mrchris, Have you advertsied this event on the other forum? There's far more traffic over there. Have you posted about it on any of the Rovers facebook groups? I know of a friend from Street planning to go.

If you could send me a link to it please, that would be awesome, and I'd be very grateful. Thanks, Chris.

If you could send me a link to it please, that would be awesome, and I'd be very grateful. Thanks, Chris. That's The Bristol Rovers Over Forty Year Old Fans Group, I see - I guess it would need to be There are other Rovers facebook groups you may wish to join, which have far more members. Try searching for the following groups: - Bristol Rovers Fan Zone ... 6.7K members. - Bristol Rovers FC Appreciation ... 10.1K members. - Passionate Gasheads "say what ever" ... 5.6K members. - Vintage Bristol Rovers Images ... 1.4K members. The other internet fans forum can be found at this address: gaschat.co.uk/board/1/gas-worksAnother possibility, and I thought I'd posted this before, is whether the Supporters Club can help with advertising the event on their social media: bristolroverssc.co.uk/It doesn't look like parts of their website have been updated for a long time. For instance, I note that the membership details still show the fees for 2019/20, and the 'Contact' section still has the information for the previous committee!! There are some local satellite branches that will be nearer to Street. Click --> 'Club' --> 'Branches' --> and you can click on the names 'Norton Radstock Gas' and 'Weston-Super-Mare Gas' for contact details of those clubs. Finally, there's the Bristol Rovers Former Players Group to think about: www.bristolroversfpa.org/

The Concept. Thank you so much for all those links and group ideas. I am very grateful, and am working my way through it all, which might take a while, but it certainly opens up the potential audience, so again, many thanks.

I had a message earlier from someone who mistakenly thought the event we're holding was tonight, but I reassured them that it is in fact, on Sunday, May 21st, and not tonight. So if anyone else was thinking of coming along tonight, you'll be far too early, as it's still another four weeks away!! Please share the link to the Facebook event: fb.me/e/Kqojt7ftAll very welcome.

This event has now been cancelled. Sorry, but due to a lack of interest and very low ticket sales....
