We edged that. Of the small amount of football on display, we played it. Final ball and composure, that is what is missing it seems.

Think we have been the better team and we have been terrible. Ok conditions aren't great but seriously?

Gas look better side, some decent passing.FGR may well buck up in second half so achtung Gas. The new winger from Luton has to tackle now and again,it's not his game but when the occasion comes his way he could at least get in the way of the opposing player. We must take the opportunity to have a go at goal.We have every chance to win this game.

We are by far the better team, Trotman is immense at centre half, Hughes and Parkin doing nothing, Frear absolute s**te, Lockyer looking good at right back, we are clearly lacking a right footed winger although Monkhouse works extremely hard defensively. Taylor and Cunnington will be a very good partnership when they get a better understanding of each other. We are mixing the play up nicely, some of the slick passing moves in the final third are excellent, whereas FGR just look to play 100% hoofball. A point will be a good result, but i think we have more quality than FGR and hopefully will get all 3.

Matty Taylor is either majorly lacking in confidence or he's complete s***. Jury is out. Rovers had the best of that half but in truth it is a dire game. We aren't going to score enough goals to do anything this season. He's poor (cue 2nd half goal). A 1 in 4 goal record at this level sums him up really. We desperately need an injection of quality from somewhere. Two poor teams in a dreadful first half. Somebody wake me up when it's over!

That was so much better than Barnet, I can hardly believe it.

Well that got better as the half wore on and we were playing with belief in those last 15 mins for the first time this season.
So far we are comfortably the better team but need more of a cutting thrust. Sinclair and Harrison coming on could make the difference.

Personally I thought we looked decent, certainly compared to the Altrincham game. FGR are lucky to have 10 men on the pitch, both Coles and Parkin kicking out for no reason. Its ours fpr the taking in the 2nd half

Matt Taylor's scoring record is poor. Can see why to-day.Poor first touch and very one paced.Needs to be replaced.Had he stayed on-side we'd be one up now .Cunnington good signing. One goal will do this.

We have played a bit of football but still loads of hoofball which is a waste as Cunnington is atrocious.

That said, we don't look like we are capable of scoring and FGR can only improve. Sums it up really.

Did he score the disallowed goal? yes it now 0 0 to us No nèed to be offside there. His positioning and awareness in and outside the box is awful.

Saw 1st half in pub - thought we looked pretty good for most of it. Certainly dominated the midfield battle and didn't let them feed Hughes and Parkin at all. Thought we lacked a bit of composure at both ends of the pitch - maybe that's to be expected at this level though. Felt we were comfortably the better team - let's hope we keep it up in 2nd half.
I think Harrison has been bought on because Clarke fancies getting Oliver sent off.

Agree with the sub. Lets hope Harrison left his attitude behind this season.
Cunnington and Taylor have been dire.
Oh deae, oh dear.
