We have played the Pilgrims 107 times, W33, D35, L39, Biggest win and loss is 5-0, there have been a couple of 3-3 draws too.
Plymouth were founded in 1886, play their home games at Home Park which has a capacity of 17,900.
Manager Steven Schumacher is 38 and played in 471 games mainly for Bradford, Crewe, Bury, Fleetwood and Stevenage.
The club's traditional rivals are fellow Devon sides Exeter City and Torquay United; other less intense rivalries exist with Swindon Town, Portsmouth, Bristol City and Bristol Rovers.
Former players were Paul Mariner, Tommy Tynan, Steve McCall, Graham Coughlan, Paul Wotton, Mickey Evans, Kevin Hodges, Ronnie Mauge.
Plymouth are the current leaders in L1, BRFC are in 12th position, it will be a very tough game, i would bite your hands off for a hard earned point.

Just got up..
Really looking forward to this one. I hope this is played properly, because both teams have attractive approach to the game and I think it's a great challenge for JAB to put his wits against unfashionable league leaders.
The match needs little build up, a sell out with large away contingent, both on form, bit of angst off the pitch and a nice sunny mild start to the day...
Gas 3-2. Some controversy, probably a penalty or late drama.
Hope I remember it later. See you on the Road in couple of hours, enjoy the match and UptheGas!

As JB said,' it's why we're here',to play big matches in the 3rd tier.
Arglye off to a flier, playing very well and top of the division.
Rovers enjoying our "October perk up".
A full house.
The stage is set, lights, curtain and the games afoot!
Sing up Gas!
Come on Rovers!

Loft is absolute #####. How do you play football practically everyday of the week yet manage to not be able to control the ball or time a header. Were basically playing with 10 men.
Needs to play off the last man, which isn't going to happen, so just sub him for anybody.

FFS 0-2 down and I thought flares were illegal... Plenty of time and i remember a couple of games both won and lost,v Plymouth, where 2 goals were not enough, whether it went there or our way. We seem to get nervy in front of a sell out too

Evening Post says it, so it must be true.

I'd have taken that at the start of today's game. Sounds like we had a good second half!
