Out of interest, what rule(s) did you break KP? Did you receive a warning? Just for the record we usually issue a warning, temporary ban, and then as a last resort, a permanent ban. It doesn't happen often. I like to think the Forum is still largely self-policing. |

They don’t like it up em mr manwairing. I was actually waiting for this to happen tbh. comparing this place to there is not really any comparison. Post what isn’t popular and you’re a target, never been a sheep , add to that, my bestie ITB hates that i blocked him so do not see his attempts at all kinds of stuff and it’s really quite easy to see the driving force. |

Actually it's good news that KP has been proudly banned from Pravda.
It means that he can concentrate more on this forum now.
So far he has barely managed more than 20 per week, which is a bit laggardly, he will be the first to admit.
So, get cracking, no slacking, no failure to answer recurrently each and every topic that comes up from this day forth...

It doesn't happen often. I like to think the Forum is still largely self-policing. Constant wumming and adding nothing to the forum board other than just causing friction and arguments. You were warned by GE to stop wumming and we had 2 mod reports from things you had posted. The ban was temporary, but seeing how proud you are of it, perhaps the mods who banned you might reconsider making it permanent. Swissgas isnt banned from Gaschat. He was once banned in error on an extremely busy night following a heavy defeat and unfortunately posted in the middle of 3 posters arguing. He was reinstated within 12 hours. A bit like Epping has said about this place, the Gaschat forum largely moderates itself, and the mods view it as a pub whereby strong views can be expressed and exchanged, but there is a limit, the limit being when someone is constantly winding others up for the sake of it. It just creates a toxic atmosphere. When it gets to that point we ask people to stop, but just like any good pub landlord, if your behaviour is constant to the detriment of the enjoyment to the rest of the board then you get removed. Simple as that really. |

I seem to remember this forum banning Oldie not so long ago, for calling a poster out for some quite reprehensible views. I am glad he has now been reinstated.

That comment is so childish. I've read some of your posts on there and all I can say -- If you want to act like that I don't blame the mods in any shape or form. I have always had a dislike of people who pretend to know things and would like you to believe they have been told things and want people to view them as ITK. Actually it's good news that KP has been proudly banned from Pravda. It means that he can concentrate more on this forum now. Oldie was warned about trolling. He accepted the warning, and then within hours continued to troll the same person. Whilst within the "Politics" section this is just about acceptable (though I don't like it - 'play the ball and not the man' is what I was taught), the feud flowed over into football related matters. It was a temporary ban. I am glad Oldie is back. As I'm sure you're aware axegas it is a difficult line to tread between defending free speech and making judgements about what could be seen as breaking Forum rules. |

I think it's a disappointment anyone gets banned from any forum, save their posts inciting violence.
For me, I infringement on everyone's right to freedom of speech.
It's part of a larger agenda for what you can and can't say in public. Which is becoming continuingly restrictive.
If wumming (again, I'm being thick, I assume the winding up people, person or forum) is an issue and folk have problems with that, there is a facility to can filter out their posts.
But, they should be allowed to express themselves, and as I'm opposed censorship, I would hope the mods reflect and revoke their decision, and allow Kp the courtesy of returning if he/she so desires.
For the record, I find a lot of Kp posts interesting, I like his/hers contributions.....does this mean I should be banned too?

Now in confirming that you had a temporary ban for using inappropriate language you repeat the very same words again.
