Jimmy will be giving Burton a dressing down. not sure if Rovers have played them this early in the season, but the last two seasons BA have been slow off the mark if memory serves me, so good time to play them

Any chants of 'Can you referee us every week'? Please God no. It’s the utterly useless Ross Joyce who manages to ruin every game he referees. Must have got confused as it is normally one of ours he sends off. Makes Gurnam Singh look like Colina. A sack of rocks in the centre circle would do a better job than him.

Still sounds like an on it performance from Rovers though. Feels promising.

A good performance all round today, very encouraging. Made a real difference having Finley back in the side.

After the gloom of the forest green game and lack of signings - a reminder that we’ve got some quality players here already and a team we can never write off
And there are some worried teds right now

Well done to the team and JB. After the week he’s had he deserves a good performance on the Saturday. Sounds as if everyone put in a shift to get a confidence boosting 3 points. Well done all.

Stats: Burton 0 BRFC 4 - 35% - 65% - Shots 4-23 - On Target 1-5 - Corners 3-13 - Fouls 7-7 - Yellows 2-1 - Reds 1-0 - Referee: Ross Joyce - Attendance 3,363.
Match Report:
Bristol Rovers inflicted a hammering on 10-man Burton, who saw Conor Shaughnessy red-carded inside the first minute.
The Albion defender was penalised for a foul on Aaron Collins just outside the box and referee Ross Joyce had no hesitation in producing the red card.
Rovers had never won at Burton in six previous attempts but promptly set about putting that right as Antony Evans swept home from the free-kick that followed Shaughnessy's dismissal.
The former Everton midfielder then had time and space to pick out defender James Connolly at the back post to sweep home and have the visitors two up inside 12 minutes.
Albion had been three down at Wycombe in the season opener last season and this was worse as Collins fired in a quick-fire brace in four minutes before half-time, both times finding space on the left-hand side of the box to beat beleaguered keeper Ben Garratt.
John Marquis planted a header against the crossbar as the visitors went in search of a fifth in the second half, but they could not inflict any more damage on Albion.

Seems an eternity since we've been on the right side of a dodgy sending off but I'll take it and for once we did really well against 10 men. Pretty much the last League One match to be shown on the ITV EFL highlights and hardly a mention of Rovers by the pundits. Not really complaining though, staying under the radar is a positive in my book. UTG

Coutts available for next Saturday.

It was dodgy alright. A sign of refs clamping down on certain fouls for the new season I reckon, but I couldn't for the life of me see a sending off offence there. Then JF-H surrendering possession like he did after just a minute was equally absurd. We had so much possession that we didn't know what to do with it at times. We just played off the second half like a training session.
