Tony Blair is in a Labour Party promotional video. Sir Keir gives Sir Tony his blessing. Good or bad for Labour? Good because he is centrist and that's where Labour need to pick up support to be electable. Bad because when Tony B Liar appeared as a prominent spokesman for the "Remain" campaign, over the next few days opinion polls pointed to a significant "Leave" gain. He could have turned the whole result. Marvellous.

There is and will be a constant "where is the benefit" and "this is the cost", to hold leavers to account for what they did. Just like holding the Tories to account for what they have done since 2010. That's the nature of democracy. As for Blair, that's a bit desperate by Starmer. It's a warped logic if this move is based upon attracting back to the Labour Party the droves that deserted them because of the clown Corbyn.

I think we can agree on the relative merits of Tony and Jeremy. There you go, common ground. Happy days.

Tony Blair is toxic to the voters. Labour must be mad to get him involved.
