I remember watching a player called Rickie Lambert playing for Rochdale and a certain DrFaustas telling me what a good player he looked. Wonder what happened to young Rickie? I remember when he came on as a sub Terry, when Rochdale beat us 2-1. Some 'good-judges' in the crowd were calling Rickie, a fat b*****d. Mrs. darlo thought the same as Dr. F. There's also a possibility of course that I made all that up, Tel. I trust you're well my friend. #UpTheROVERS

Against my better judgment I decided to get up for this one. Little did I know it would be to watch a thriller where Rovers come back from 0-2 to win 3-2.
Just hoping against hope that becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

See also Newport away (getting into the top seven), Carlisle away (getting into the top three) and Forest Green home (putting pressure on the top three). I don't think I'm being premature in now adding Rochdale to the list. Rochdale are 18th, have players out injured and have an emergency goalkeeper. Just so poor and disappointing. This team bottles it again and again when it matters, which hardly bodes well for the playoffs - presuming we make it. we are still on for automatic till the whistle, these afternoons can be so long. |

If Northampton get a point today against Exeter, we can forget auto promotion. So, let's concentrate on securing that play-off spot. We need 4 points, so today a draw would be enough. We don't have to win this game, just get level. One step at a time.
