We do know that the legal profession is influenced by politics and does not always stick to the rule of law. This was shown at the trial of the four people who toppled Colston's statue. Why are you so naive.....my god. What??? QCs' do not advocate their arguments based upon the Statute Book and Jusrisprudence? The Colston 4 were found not guilty by a Jury of their peers from the general public. Not some sort of cabal of "lefty" lawyers. That's the beauty of our legal system. There is only one group of people trying to undermine that system.

The big court battles are now to take place, with the first flight for Rwanda due next week.
We could eg,leave the UN 1951 Refugee Convention to stop these illegal queue jumpers and give Leavers one of their Brexit wishes."Take control of our borders".
Save millions of £s on not having to look after these illegals.
Stop our silly habit of importing crime.
Etc.

Whale Sperm. Oh please, can we invoke eugenics to rid ourselves of this very apparent genetic corruption. Please How very Nazi. You ****. True. But Christ, you open yourself up as a target for the argument that you dilute the human gene pool of intelligence. Fortunately for you I am talking with tongue in cheek.

On another topic on this forum there is Nobby shouting at me saying that migrants from outside the EU have replaced (fully) the loss of EU labour under free movement and then there is you repeating, like some tantric chant, taking back control of our borders. What part of we had control of non EU migration when we were a member of the EU but chose not to exercise it, do you not understand? Now, faced with acute labour shortages, we are wanting more. Yeah, you voted for it. Ricky Gervais (just to triangulate) must be rubbing his hands in glee at the material for piss taking comedy you and your ilk are providing. Jesus wept.

I tried to explain how he looks at his recent Netflix routine, how he sees his material as comedy,a chance to make people laugh but not political.Unlike his Lefty comedian critics, eg Nish Kumar. As I 'said',too much applause and not enough laughs at his shows.A la a Jeremy Corbyn speech. Oh and I actually voted remain.

Whoa there......nobody is shouting at you. However, once again, you twist words to suit your narrative. Your problem is that you only see things in black & white.

You whispered quietly, "give it a rest". Not sure what words I am twisting. But hey ho.

Other than being proud of the fact that the UK was instrumental in drafting that convention, other than the fact that I believe in providing support to those in dire circumstances, I also believe in the free market. A true free market allows for the unfettered movement of capital and labour, subject to a very narrow band of local rules. You are clearly not proud of that achievement, do not believe in assisting those in dire circumstances, and absolutely do not believe in a free market. There is a political movement that encapsulates your views. The first word of its name starts with "N" and the second with "S"

Agreed, our participation at the beginning of the refugee convention is something to be proud of ,but alot has changed. We can take labour in as we need. Not when queue jumping frauds tell us.They can be sent 'back'. Brexit was democratically won,so let's get on with it.

Democratic vote said Brexit. Leave the restrictions of the 51 agreement and do 'our own thing'. Could work out just lovely. I see the law has so far sided with the Governments plan to fly some boaters off to Rwanda to be checked out. Those against have mounted an appeal.

You are clearly not proud of that achievement, do not believe in assisting those in dire circumstances, and absolutely do not believe in a free market. There is a political movement that encapsulates your views. The first word of its name starts with "N" and the second with "S" "A true free market allows for the unfettered movement of capital and labour, subject to a very narrow band of local rules." - I also believe in a Free Market. However, your version is, shall we say, naive. Unfettered movement of capitol and labour just cannot exist in the real world. Deep down you know that. The money will go to those places that have money and can attract more money and make themselves richer. The labour will follow that money. How does that tie up with your demands regarding income distribution? The poor countries will become poorer and labour will flood from the poor countries to the rich countries. The EU only allows unfettered movement of capital and labour within the EU. For countries outside of the EU it can be very difficult to trade within the EU. The EU is in fact very insular. The EU could have worked as a Common Market, but as always there are certain people who wanted to make a power grab. of a Free Market is that it should only exist within the EU.
