Ok, i will say it, the words some will not.  You and a select few obviously played a part in the now infamous 2006 twerton uprising. It seems most of you hate triggered by the same things, telling others to foxtrot Oscar and saying they are dinosaurs is not close to polite, you believe you are protecting someone/something when what you do is belittle and make others feel unwelcome by suggesting these things. Just my opinion and again, i have no doubt you are a decent guy in the flesh but PLEASE try to accept others have differing views, sans the faux offence. 
I like this place, i would like to see more use it. eppinggas goes out of his way to keep it going, after some sterling work by JeffNZ, it is not a private club, made for those who heroically fought for RAFC.

Please try to accept and even give some Freemason to post here instead of some abuse. It does no good to anyone. I think we are sailing close to maybe not being here if things carry on as they are but that is not my decision. 
I am not judging as i do not know you, i like many of your posts but not the holier and better than thou attitude. Another I’d be interested to meet, maybe you, i and Vaughan coulld have a drink sometime. No. I’ve attempted to explain that football is male dominated because mainly men have an interest in it. Regardless of what you “want” me to say, or believe, this will still be a reality long after your suppositions and political hysterics have been and gone.

I’m not interested in controlling other people behaviour. I’ve clearly stated that people follow the interests which are relevant and of interest to them. I feel no need to make every event, or interest have some kind of demographic target in mind which must be addressed.
If mainly men like activity A, and women like activity B, I have no interest in changing that. Why?

As for keeping the good women home etc, grow up for goodness sake.

I don’t support criminalising free speech, but I support a clubs right to eject people who are anti social.
As I’ve said, all should be made welcome.
I’m just not certain that footballs mainly male following is down to the actions of fans, I think it’s simply because men inherently are more interested in watching other men kick a ball around - not due to football fans bring rabidly right wing.

Case in point, instead of vitriol and bile, a lifelong friendship started, meeting others posters, in my experience, makes for a nicer dialogue and for connections to be made

I assume you are referring to the Boardroom split at the Mem 10 years after Rovers left Twerton. In the past you have complained when that particular issue has been debated by those of us who were involved so why you are raising it now when as far as I can see it is totally unconnected to this thread is beyond me. Gary wasn't directly involved in that particular debacle either. As Dr Faustus has said elsewhere he and Gary became close friends as a result of meeting someone who he thought he disagreed with, on the then discussion boards. For a time Gary and I disagreed on a few issues but in the end we both had (I think) similar views on the idea of supporters involvement in the running of a football club. On the issue being debated on this thread I am in total agreement with Gary.

Are you serious ? If so then it was the attempt to make Rovers a better club which was better run and with fewer to no debts Steve, Aka the RAFC or Rovers agenda for change
