Again Bas 'woke' appears to be anything that you disagree with. An insult but like the term 'Gashead' has been adopted by many who see it as a term thrown at those who feel they are trying to do the right thing in a society which is ridden with inequality that you seem to favour. Virtue signalling definition - the public expression of opinions or sentiments intended to demonstrate one's good character or social conscience or the moral correctness of one's position on a particular issue. - another insult thrown at those who try to bring about equality in society. Who want the less fortunate or those society rails against to have an equal opportunity in life. I just can't understand why old [and often many young] white males rail against anti-racism, anti-misogyny, anti-female abuse, against the poorer members of society etc. What the hell do they think they are losing? What do they fear so much? I might suggest because their egos are so fragile, their reasoning capacity so limited, they become angry and frustrated and then take it out on those least able to confront them. Playing Devil's Advocate - because a lot of these movements are after political or financial advantage. For instance - women have had breast screening for years (and quite rightly). Men are exhorted to get prostate checks. When I did so it was done grudgingly and dismissively. Add to this the farce over Transgender issues, and it becomes apparent that a lot of these issues are very difficult to solve. Who's right? Just saying. |

Was not aware that it was a supporters group with a facility to enable then to come together on match days? That's what I am suggesting, if possible. Yes, understood that. Was very informal but one person went as far as calling one a lady garden. Said sorry after lots of abuse. Not quite sure what you are saying KP. That one female is slagging off another? I used to play in bands with female singers. They used to get constant grief - from other women. Nobody bothered the guys in the band, even if we were pretty mediocre. But the girls..... |

These stickers show there is a need for the HGT,although those against the Ladies game or just being stupid are surely very few in number.
I tried to find the poster(well done to her or him) that pointed out football is now the favourite sport for women to play.More women play football than any other sport in our UK.
This grass roots good news surely means a strong foundation for the Ladies game to organically grow.
The top Ladies division were averaging reasonable crowds,I don't know this seasons but a year or so ago it was around 2300.
England internationals at Wembley attract very big crowds.
There is regular media coverage.
It looks in pretty good nick to me.

Bone chilling. Ha ha - be afraid, be very afraid! I actually think it can sometimes be unpleasant for young females going to football matches these days, more so than it was in my youth. Social media has not only created keyboard warriors, but also a generation who think that's it acceptable to say whatever they want when they're out in the real world - some of which can be very unpleasant and personal. Back in the day we would get mild banter, and could often respond with a witty put-down remark, but there was no malice. |

I am genuinely sorry to bring this up again but you used to be extreme anti Wael then the polar opposite. I have no doubt you are a decent guy in reality but it seems like you even enjoy provocation and that factors in sarcasm. I can be extreme but i am persistent , not diverted by the owner, whispering kind words and rarely change my stance, it doesn’t make me popular but i am not on this planet to be liked.
