Sutton United are enjoying a great season fresh into the EFL.We've beaten them once already in the Cup.A decent dead ball and Jon Anderton header finishing the U's off.
We've sold out our ticket allocation and for those going by vehicle it's in theory one of our easier journeys.Up 32,right towards London on M4,turn anti clockwise at M25 and after a short while turn left.
Wayne Shaw the pasty eating reserve GK stands out as a memory for me.Arsenal beating SUFC in that FA Cup 5th round game 0 2.
Anssi makes a return in goal, absolutely no worries there.
James will be fit in a week or so.
We don't want to see one ounce of complacency from the lads and I don't suppose Joe will allow it.Do our stuff and with abit of luck we're in with a decent shout.
Come on Rovers!

Was it ' 73 that they knocked the mighty Leeds out of the FA Cup ? A bloke called Kelly wasn't it that registered their goal .

For those who are traveling to the match tomorrow:
Away supporters must still enter via the Away turnstiles at the north east corner of the stadium, but in order to get to this entrance access will be via the footpath through the recreation ground from Gander Green Lane. This also means that drop-off arrangements for the supporters' coach are amended. The police ask that the away supporters' coach drops off its passengers at the bus stop by West Station - please ensure passengers disembark as quickly as possible. Spectators must then walk back along Gander Green Lane and go past the main entrance, turning right after another 60m to follow the footpath through the recreation ground. During the match the coach should park up in the Kimpton Road Industrial Estate.
Away supporters will be welcome in the clubhouse before the game but should note that there is no access to the bar once inside the stadium. Access to the bar is via the main entrance on Gander Green Lane but do allow adequate time to walk round to the away turnstiles before kick-off.

Sutton United, nicknamed The Us, The Amber and Chocolates & The Yellows were founded in 1898 and are in their inaugural season in the football league.
Having spent over 40 years in the Athenian League, found themselves rising through the various Isthmian Leagues, the 1st, the prem and onto the Conference. Eventually winning the National League last season now are placed very nicely in 4th place and are on a 9 game unbeaten run.
Sutton United F.C.'s main rivals are Bromley, Carshalton Athletic, AFC Wimbledon, Kingstonian and Tooting & Mitcham.
Sutton have never shared a league with AFC Wimbledon, but due to the geographical proximity the two clubs share a rivalry, which has been dubbed the 'friendly derby'.
Their biggest victory was 11-1 twice and biggest defeat is 0-13, Most appearances: Larry Pritchard with 781.
Manager Matt Gray took over in May 2019 and of course got them promoted to the Football League in his 2nd season.
It will be a tough game at Gander Green Lane on Saturday, it would good to take a point there IMO.

Yes, saw the Leatherhead game at Leicester because the Rovers game at Derby was postponed so ended up there. That is if my memory is correct!

Yes, saw the Leatherhead game at Leicester because the Rovers game at Derby was postponed so ended up there. That is if my memory is correct! 40 bloody 9 years! "Good game"! "Good game"! As Brucie would of said. In the 1974โ75 season, The Tanners were national news with an FA Cup run that saw them beat Isthmian League rivals Bishops Stortford (1st round), League side Colchester United (2nd round), and 3rd Division Brighton, managed by Peter Taylor (3rd round). In the 4th round they were drawn against 1st Division Leicester City at home. It remains the furthest the club has ever reached in the competition. With the game switched to Filbert Street, at the request of Tanners management, the BBC's Match of the Day and over 32,000 people saw a dramatic match, in which the Tanners went two goals up, and then saw Chris Kelly's goalbound shot that would have made it 3โ0 cleared off the line. Leicester City's fitness and class eventually told as the top team fought back to win 3โ2 in the second half. Kelly was the star player of the side, earning the nickname "The Leatherhead Lip" for his readiness to talk up the team.

I'm feeling fairly confident of us getting a good result. I wonder if Elliot Anderson will start, or come on as a super sub.

Iโm going for a close 2-1 win to continue our good run. That Elliot Anderson has been allowed to come here with good reviews makes me think heโs here to be involved not just bench warming. Probably start on the bench today but come on in the second half. Eddie Howe will have trusted JB to look after him and have an expectation that heโs involved so he can develop. Lots of attacking options so we have to use them, sitting back is not suited to the players we have. COYB!

Whelans experience, sensible passing, tackling and 'gob' are welcome back.
Anssi is a great GK.
