Agreed, Mr Vaughan. How long before Epping gets it into his head, that Barton was responsible for the Covid outbreak? Nope, definitely no elephant in this room Allegedly, one of the reasons why the Fleetwood Chairman sacked Barton was that he organised a staff Christmas party (during lockdown) at the Fleetwood training centre. It was interrupted by Ched Evans wearing a Groucho Marks outfit, mocking Joey's dark glasses and love of cigars. Ched was banished and the rest is history. Angas will investigate...

Is there any decent video footage Check out the provocation beforehand. It's entirely irrelevant. If he retaliated violently, he'd get sent off. At best, a video review might see the Vale player charged with something too, but that's hardly to Rovers benefit.

The point is the initial stamp was deliberate provocation - what followed could equally have been deliberately engineered by Conlon. We will only know if there is other camera footage made available.

Thanks, Grant. #UpTheRoversAnd a shout out for The Shire, holding their own in the Lowland League; only 17 points off securing a promotion this season. #UpTheShire 17 points off then having to play off against the second bottom team in league 2. Easily achievable 😁 UTG and UTS. 🤣🤣 Could be Elgin City, who of course play in the same (similar) colours as The Shire. Selfishly, I'd prefer Cowdenbeath, if only because I like saying: Cowdenbeath... come on the The Cowdens. #UpTheShire

Joe,on being asked, mentioned how "reinforcements" are needed in January.
"Work to be done now" first of all.Eg "discipline!"
He knows who they want I'm sure of it and hopefully he can sign them very early January.
Fingers crossed these January sales will be good for Rovers.
Maybe 2 or 3 good uns to go with our current 'best of' can see us achieve something - and as Joe put it - "special".
Still everything to play for and I can see us mounting a serious challenge later in the season.

Watching the highlights from Sky anyone noticed some Port Vale players congratulating each other on getting Sam Finley sent off when daisy Beckham got sent off against the Argies, the population of Buenos Aries did a somersault, but this is a normal thing nowadays, expect it was the same at Salford ,but that never did help much in the end

Watching the highlights from Sky anyone noticed some Port Vale players congratulating each other on getting Sam Finley sent off didnt notice myself, but doesn't mean much if you know there is a player, or players that might react to something, it's not surprising the opposition will look at that. Whether the Vale player cheated or took one upside the head for his troubles is another thing

- First sending off: didn't see the incident; can't see it on highlights; can't really comment.
- Belly pulled off a couple of great saves early on and also one at the end.
- However, even down to 10 men, we had 2 great chances to take the lead: 1) A shot flashed past the post (Anderson?); most of East Stand thought it was in, were up celebrating; couldn't believe the net didn't bulge. 2) Taylor header from free-kick - really should have scored.
- Their first goal: came from a free-kick; looked a fair challenge to me, winning the ball.
- Our penalty shout: think there was contact; think VAR would have given it; Trev too theatrical in going to ground may have put ref off.
- Second sending off: thought harsh at the time; seeing the highlights I can understand it; Harries wrong body position; kicked their player; last man.
- Potential PVFC sending off: Collins down, writhing round, holding his face; didn't see the incident; can't see it on highlights; can't really comment.... But ... 30 seconds earlier I spotted Collins kick one of their players off the ball. I was wondering if the half-time instructions were to wind their players up, try to get one of them sent off, even the numbers up. Seems that could have been happening all over the pitch - hearing Finley may have been stamped on, leading up to his sending off.

We appear to be more aggressive recently but is it in the right way? Personally, I prefer us to be more clinically in our play but are we good enough?

I`d prefer us to pass the ball to each other more clinically, and to kick and head it into the goal more clinically. Just not sure, we ARE good enough.

Having watched that several times, I would agree the initial 'foul' is by Conlon. Finlay is responsible for what happened next, because he quite clearly lost his head.

Knowing you're faced with a ill-disciplined team managed by a violent psychopath, one might as well try to provoke a reaction. Port Vale did this. I can't blame any team led by that splendid fellow they have there, though. Al Qadi should never have watched him move from Walsall to Port Vale.

Watching the highlights from Sky anyone noticed some Port Vale players congratulating each other on getting Sam Finley sent off Alan I just watched the highlights and the port vale players seem to congratulate each other after both red cards. Strange behaviour. Harries looked like a Sunday league player both for the second goal and for his red card. Absolute basic defending - track your runner, and don’t let the thing bounce. I don’t say this lightly but I don’t want to see him in the quarters again. I’ve taught 8 year olds to defend better than that

Its staggering that he earns several thousand pound a week as a footballer, he probably cavy believe it either and is having a good laugh at his pay slips.
