if that is the case, then that will be the end of the road for me, no way could i give any form of support, monetary or vocal to this kind of of person, ...sincerely hope this is just speculation #Bartonout Just thought I would look for the club's mission statement and see how many aspects of it they were contradicting by having this disgusting person associated with Rovers. Turns out they appear to have plagiarised something written by a 7 year old and are using that as a mission statement and nobody seems to have noticed that it doesn't address anything associated with normal, common decency. Don't bother checking it for grammar or punctuation, it's appalling, as is now the norm for the garbage produced by the new, professional Bristol Rovers. #ashamedtobeassociatedwiththisclub

Just got back...
I haven't trawled through the thread, will do at different date but what I noticed:
I was privileged to witness a hard fought result in the face of adversity. Certainly in form, whom would have thought we could get that result after Newport fiasco?
My m o m was harries ... First half he sent a couple of through balls the sent Nicholson and Thomas on their way. He also mopped up everything at the back including one brilliant diving block.
But, there were many more candidates.
Nicholson ran himself ragged. Through the channels, he played like a dangerous winger cutting in we know he can be.
The same for Thomas.
Connor Taylor is again reliable, nothing beats him in the air, although sometimes his distribution lacks.
Belshaw has a fine steady dependable match as per his usual high standards, and made a few regulation saves including coming off his line first half to smother a shot when they broke through.
Whelan again hard working.
What I wouldn't consider a candidate is Coutts.... again, why? I don't know what he contributed? Apart from being booked, which was a half version of taking one for the team...?
The ref appeared to favour home crowd in most 50/50 challenges. We time wasted which I don't like to see..... and Anderson is definitely not a right back but is still persists with this tactic..... it'll be exploited against us if anyone is decent attacking on the left in future.
JAB made his subs - two defensive choices - one enforced, one not but we changed from 4 to 3 to 4 at back and in end I thought looked more comfortable and balanced....and his first 2 dins conspired to win us the match! Well done, JAB definitely right decisions....
We are still sometimes lacking in tempo attacking, but I really like to see Thomas/Nicholson head down running towards goal, they're definitely more effective than backs to goal. Anderson needs to support more in advanced territory, but it's no coincidence we scored yesterday when we packed the box - even Anderton can stand a chance of getting one on target - so anything can happen when you don't have a recognised striker on the pitch!?
Well done all that travelled. It wasn't just a one ground ticked off, I was genuinely amazed we took as many as that bearing where we are in table. We sometimes out sung the home drum!
Despite all my transport problems, it was worth it and can reflect that watching the Gas away is sometimes more productive than at home! UptheGas...

The Rovers goal today. Provider and scorer both came off the bench. Nice for the Manager, who still enjoys support from plenty of Gasheads. I was by the tunnel at Harrogate and both half endings JAB made himself 'busy' while entering and disappearing, the end of the first half was with and near ref, the second was with member of coaching team....I have to say both times ALL Gas that were applauding included him, and only once did he give us briefest of glimpses... He appeared to do everything to avert eye contact with individual supporters, but he did applaud us from a distance. Maybe he's focused? Maybe he's a tad shy with individuals? Maybe he's contemplating? Maybe there's something more important than him unifying with us? I don't know.... but my perceptions are the travelling fans overwhelmingly support the players, there's a bond beginning (especially with Belshaw and more especially with Connor Taylor whom was last to leave the field, and gave his short away)....but I can't honestly say I've seen the same with JAB. Fans try, but he is always too busy somewhere else. Many Gas tolerate him, but definitely a few silent stay away will never take to him.

Good to hear you rate Joe's substitutions and tactical nous that played a big part in winning us the game.

There are some that have told Joe to 'go away',so it's understandable he is avoiding eye contact,I would say.

I can only guess that anyone who is glad at the prospect of Barton or his cabal of demented friends having control of BRFC,is having urgent help with their various issues.
There is nothing in that scenario that actually makes sense. Hey ho, if it does become reality (it won't), Port Vale here we come.
UTG, Darrell is God and Barton out.

Barton's win takes him up to 25% for wins. Manager | P | Division(s) | W | % | D | % | L | % | Clarke | 246 | 4th, 5th, 4th to 3rd | 104 | 42% | 56 | 23% | 86 | 35% | Coughlan | 56 | 3rd | 25 | 45% | 18 | 32% | 13 | 23% | Garner | 33 | 3rd | 6 | 18% | 10 | 30% | 17 | 52% | Tisdale | 19 | 3rd | 5 | 26% | 3 | 16% | 11 | 58% | Barton | 36 | 3rd to 4th | 9 | 25% | 5 | 14% | 22 | 61% |
If he carries on, he'll soon exceed Tisdale's 26%, although Barton relegated us first so games are now at a lower level. EDIT: whether Tisdale was a sensible appointment at this club has been debated, but his sacking after only nineteen games, before we were even in the relegation zone, I never understood. Not a successful nineteen games, overall, but last season Al Qadi seemed to lose the plot. Neither sacking were at the right time, and replacing football managers with the Barton Syndicate beggars belief.

Ar'nt some of you getting a little carried away here?"Cabal" etc. Maybe. But Barton does always refers to 'we' and 'us' being brought in (to save us apparently).

Cabal. Look it up. I'm not the brightest torch in the box, some would say THICK, but they may get told off.
Barton out.

I tend to assume that he means the backroom staff who came with him, but may well be wrong on that. It's never been clear that they're all BRFC employees though. Are we going to have Duck every Sunday? You should be so lucky.

Duck boy/girl, if you want to know about IR35, drop me a message and also look at reputable sites (www.gov.uk)
You'll get no response tonight and apologies for that. It's the end of the weekend and anything that winds me up stops now.
