Something seems to be happening on Twitter tonight. Lots of us are pledging not to spend another penny at Rovers until B***** is gone.
For me I’ll still go to games with my good friend Dr F, as I’ve got a season ticket, but that’s it.
No beers in the ground but stay in Civil Service club, no more merchandise, no cup matches, no pasties or coffees, not even a 50/50 ticket.
There’s been enough talking and non talking (especially from the boardroom). Now it’s time to do something.
Not a penny more to Rovers until B***** is gone.

Well said. We didn't renew our three season tickets in large part due to the Joey B***** appointment, the situation has defiently got worse and it is time to claim back our club because the way it is being run has caused such damage to the Gas family.

Fair play FJH.
I respect that some people still want to go.
It's a big ask to give up your football, a massive ask to give up precious time with friends, why should you do that because a decision has been taken that's out of your control? You've reached a point where you feel compelled to act and are making a stand.
Good for you.

The mass following of Rovers on Twitter, I don't think I know one Rovers fan on twitter besides me.

Total spend on Bristol Rovers FC (games, shirts, other merchandise, iFollow, beers in the SC etc etc) since February 22nd 2021 - £0.00p. I don't think I am alone.

Point of order Father...can we still use the toilets? That may involve spending a penny and at my age, I'm not sure a two hour bladder holding contest would fill me with much hope.

First home game of the season it stuck me that there were many regulars missing from the East Stand. These are long standing season-ticket holders, many sitting in the stand since we moved back from Twerton Park.
My first thought was that it could be down to people still away on holiday, or perhaps some waiting to see how the pandemic plays out as restrictions lifted. Then found myself hoping that some spaces weren't an indication people had been affected by Covid-19. But at the same time wondering whether people were staying away, or hadn't renewed, because of JB.
In the end I think the East Stand pretty much sold out this season, but it is noticeable there are a number of new faces, a turn-over more than you'd usually expect, and I think a lot of that is down to people spotting spaces available and moving from other parts of the ground.
Personally I'd find it difficult not to renew my season-ticket, because once you do someone else will grab it and you've effectively lost that spot the following year.

Not if you get a season ticket for the shed behind the goal, get in there with " The Boys" you might actually enjoy it !

Just worked out that I spent 2.75 times as much on the 2020/21 merchandise, as I have so far on 2021/22 merchandise - and that isn't going to change.
Admittedly last season I spent a lot more that I usually do, because I wanted to help my club as much as I could through the pandemic, knowing I couldn't spend it in other ways at the games.
I didn't ask for a refund for the games missed at the end of the 2019/20 season. I didn't ask for a refund on the season ticket for 2020/21, even though I had numerous problems with i-Follow.
As it is I've already paid for the season-ticket this year, so I may as well use it - same goes for the (now rubbish) programmes which come through the post still. However, I've not spent another penny in the ground - managed to walk past the temptation of a Cornish Pasty!
Over recent weeks I have caught up with friends, and heard that certain people they know aren't attending while JB is manager, and some used to be home and away every week.
Although I don't want my team to lose, I must admit that I celebrate goals and wins with far less gusto than I used to. I've started to look at it as a win-win situation - Rovers win = great, that's my team / Rovers lose = oh well, another game closer to JB leaving.

I’ve lived abroad for a few years now. Spend about £200 a year on merch (hoodies, shirt etc). Emailed the club this week to tell them I wouldn’t spend another penny while current manger is in place.

Me and a few others. Not all connected though. Caz May and the #HerGameToo crew are also on Twitter Thanks, Tel #UTG. My twitter account generally involves me falling out with anybody related to the club, it seems to be my speciality, that's fans and one player and I think one of the hergametoo initiators now. Maybe we should have a list of twitter names on here and I will see how long it takes for the lot of them to disown me, probably quicker than rovers going twice unbeaten.
