Seriously, I suspect WAQ will give JB this whole season. And just as seriously, based on what evidence? Based on quite a mountain of evidence, I think the rest of us now suspecting, and this is being fair not even mentioning short fuse and history of violence, Talented footballer, likely underachieved through so often acting a prat. A sense he actually enjoyed the attention being naughtiest boy in class and played up to it. Despite showing less talent for football management and coaching, he is wasting two precious opportunities in management through continuing to enjoy the media attention rather than getting it right in front camera and on field. In a few weeks a court will decide a case which could prove Joey committed ‘the’ most stupidest example of football management behaviour of all time bar none. “I suspect given plenty of time he can succeed at Rovers.I also suspect Wael might give Joe this season and plenty of next too.” As his advocate, what are you seeing to support these suspicions, evidence currently invisible to the rest of us? Well I don't know for definite either way, does any of us.I just suspect after getting through a couple of managers quite quickly, that WAQ maybe curious to see where we'll be at the end of this and possibly next season with Joe having had plenty of time. I think we are not too far away from being a team that can challenge Maybe we will need to sign a couple more and get everyone fit.Takes time. WAQ may think, may as well go with Joe and see how it goes, rather than sack him and start all over again with a new bloke.

2-0 Telford. They’re all over us Doesn’t sound all over us on radio commentary, sounds even. Do you have pictures? Anyone watching live got a comment on how we are playing? I watch on iFollow. I know it's not like being there but you get a good bird's eye view of it. I had the feeling that the commentator and "old Rodders" had the intention of / had been told to put a positive slant on it so gave an old fashioned rousing commentary to lift the spirits. It was a radio commentary after all. Our performance was anything but rousing I can assure you. We were a shambles at that stage with a pedestrian pace and poor ball control, and apart from a 15-minute period second half, we were outplayed by an enthusiastic Newport side. The commentator dropped his guard at the end with his "pick the bones out of that" comment to Rodman when Coutes came on when we needed a goal.

I tried it, getting it on my phone and casting it onto my TV screen. Worked fine - until I changed phone. Same model, just an upgrade. And it stopped working. Eventually ifollow admitted they didn't support casting. No reason. So stuff them and trying to follow it. So-I only had the RadBris commentary. Straight off I wouldn't expect any commentator to be too critical bearing in mind he /she might get banned - our owner seems to have a penchant for this. However, Rodman repeatedly pulled no punches over poor play or decision making. So I don't quite understand your criticism. It left me thinking that the best person to take Monday morning's team inquest is Rodman, not B*****.

But the BBC bloke definitely held back and tried to big the game up at every opportunity, unlike the usual bloke, Ed is it?, who sits with Brookman. He's very sardonic :-)

Am sure he said a couple of times, this is the fifth match between the clubs, didn't here any caveat. Any clues?
Also wittering on about when do the clocks change.
Very poor commentator.

Remember Newport are a Phoenix club so maybe he is factually correct. I bet he never uses the same analogy when comparing us to BCFC 82 ltd though.

Loved Pitmans goal! County cut through us too often and too comfortably. We created a few chances, but not enough. We're abit wishy washy in our passing sometimes, except for Whelan ,a good passer. I think we could do with a couple of solid defenders. I thought Belshaw played well. Worst player on the field, who had a one on one with Belshaw to possibly score Countys fourth,Abraham.Looks non league to me. I think Joe has plenty to do,but it's certainly not all bad. It’s a shame that its the goals against that count Basel. I love your enthusiasm my friend but surely you must see this is not working and that, even if we had say 5 of the 11 play well, it wouldn’t be enough. We simply are not good enough and, under the current set up and i add the owner to that, we will are only going on way you cannot have an insecure hobbyist fan, run an FC and think it will work out. We have had 5.5 years of WAEL AL QADI and his ponderous and pi55 poor decision making, it s time he stopped being so narcissistic and stepped aside and allowed the 2 people in, who wish to build a stadium, he needs to cut his losses, he can even stay on but with a lesser percentage but PLEASE GOD, let go man and allow fit and proper people in, to run the FC #WAELBARONOUT

Even the most avid of B***** fan boys/girls must understand that HE is the biggest problem of all. He has fractured a once truly loyal fan base, had fans fighting with one another and is so full or ordure that any horse would be proud of. The trouble is, we get an occasional win and then we have the usual suspects show theirselves and all of a sudden we are going to be fighting towards the top end The truth is that we will be very lucky to survive this season in this league and we are looking like a , using Bartons words, team of pub players. It’s bloody sad to see and even sadder to be a witness to it. I had no idea just how bad this fraud and his boss are. Wael al qadi, hang your head in shame for what you have done to this once proud little club, we may not have had successes but we have never ever been so fractious and both forums are full of awful vitriol. It’s so bloody sad, it really is To be honest, its the apathy and disengagement that I find worse. Unfortunately the soul has been ripped out of the club and I think people are finding it harder and harder to care. A kind of learned helplessness sets in...the domestic violence circus;Maher scuttling off to Southend and Hill to wherever he ended up (I don't care); Akinde turning us down; Hughes apparently doing a press conference while drunk....a slow 'drip drip' effect that saps the will to live. And that's now another 3-1 defeat to a mediocre L2 team who we have made look like Brazil circa 1970. The only upside is that Carlisle and Sc*unthorpe appear to be even worse than us - shades of Halifax in that season the team finished second from bottom? Nailed it my friend, absolutely nailed it. I spent at least 45 years paying my own way to go, i will now do anything other than go. I am not wasting my money to watch crap

That is inclusive on many ST holders and a fair few are not attending. I wasn’t there so don’t know what it looked and felt like but the failure that is Wasel Al Qadi cannot ignore those figures and nor can he continue to underwrite the, once again, growing losses. Wael, if one of your minions is reading this then let someone else sort the club out and stop being such a wussy with your social media insecurity, let someone who knows football have at least a chance of saving us from non league…..again

Away too. And JAB looked awkward acknowledging us... I know the figures are down, but that can be attributed to other things such as covid, form and Brexit etc.....but it looks and feels like the last throws of a delusional manager. I mean, how do you explain yourself to the boss? You can't use contentious words and get away with it to someone whom employs you, especially if the employer has watched what we have... Holocaust? It can't be sustainable, JAB is out and it's only a matter of time.

Rodman tried to close that conversation down, Durden then brought Keith Brookman into it - all whilst play was going on. I could imagine Rodman sitting there thinking "WTF". I really hope that Durden isn't going to be the replacement for GT.

On my part i wont be attending again, at least until B***** is gone and i see we , at least, have a proper interview process and not just have the owner employ someone with a large social media following. I have never convered up that i believe all of our current problems are down to Wael. Ultimately it’s his visions, decisions and diabolically awful decisions, that have us where we are. Yes, he tried to appease many by trying the Steve lansdown way but he is no Steve lansdown and, regardless of his defenders say here, he hasn’t got anywhere near the wealth that he has and there is only one way that the club will be going one way and its not in an upward trajectory

The previous home game I missed (not including for Covid reasons), I was sitting in the bar at Pagham Harbour (Selsey), watching the scores come in, as we lost 4-1 to Newport.
The latest game I missed, I was walking round Looe Harbour, refreshing the BBC scores website on my phone, as we lost 3-1 to Newport.
So we're making an improvement in the games I've missed.
And an improvement also for those who attended both games, as they wouldn't have got soaked to the skin walking back to the car afterwards this time.
