Had an op on his groin in April, still a few weeks away.

Talk is cheap. The money tree not bearing fruit atm. Not a fan of Steve Hamer's dinosaur PR. I'm grateful for any improvements made to the club, but cant help but think this is anything but stalling tactics.

For me that is Waels challenge, to build the club structure able to justify that sort of investment. And if certain posters are right then it's doing that when his family don't think it's a good idea. I really hope that Wael is the man because I genuinely like him. I know liking someone doesn't make them a great leader but it's a nice start Even if his family have gone cold, I would like to think that Wael still has the substance to drive his passion. Alone he is still well connected and should have enough business nous to guide himself though. When he arrived he said this was his first and last club and sold us his vision. Things have changed no doubt but I'm sure he knew owning a football club wouldn't be plain sailing. Talk is cheap and he will always be judged on his ability to build us a stadium and a promised training facility, he may be at a roadblock atm but for as long as things keep improving within the club you have to trust him.

Interesting listen. Reaffirms for me the long term commitment made by Wael to make our club sustainable for the long term. Nice words but the club is never going to be sustainable without a £40-£50m investment. For me that is Waels challenge, to build the club structure able to justify that sort of investment.
