I'm going to Blandy Park on Saturday and I am very excited. That is some ground!

Every listen to Radio 5 mate? It's not just Rovers supporters, although with our recent history I think we can be forgiven for being a bit more bipolar than most! Oh I know, football is demented now. Full of short termism. Just try and enjoy the escapism and if not the pub. This post definitely needed a third ism.

Leads have a solid game? Moore looking his usual dangerous self? F8cking thought not. But I wasn't there - so correct me if I'm wrong. To be fair, we should have been 3 up by half-time. Everything but the goal as my mate said. Moore, Danny, Ellis, Nicholls, Billy and Sercombe had them all over the place. Second half, they knew how to play the wind and we didn't really wake up until it was too late. Just an off key night in my book and Oldham will climb up the table. Exactly as I see it. We lost because Oldham played the conditions better than we did. Not going to lose any sleep over this one. We need to get better and defending crosses and quickly though.

I struggle to see a foreign audience for this other than iFollow users who could have watched it that way if it wasn't on TV? Very odd.

Is this thread for real? He's not even into double figures on appearances yet.

Yes, absolutely, however I never really doubted that the directors would continue to fund the losses out of their own pocket in the medium term, even if it was unsustiable in the long term. There is no doubt that the club, on a day to day basis, is being run better than it probably ever has. My concern is that all of this investment costs money, money that is being borrowed against our only asset. What happens when someone wants it back? Again, that's always been the case though. We've always been at the mercy of people propping up the club. That's why I look more at the model of Burton than Swansea. The club should look to become as self-sustaining as possible, that'll happen with investment at first. Obviously we're putting trust in people again but hopefully we'll get a good deal this time. At the moment I'm taking things on face value, believing what we're told with some trepidation. It won't be the first time we were lied an absurd amount by those running the club though. Remember the Cheltenham fun day? Stop being sensible.

It's not a leap it's a slippery slope - keep up I already said that! Yes it is different. It's deliberately trying to attract interest abroad. We already have friendlies being played abroad and it won't be long until first team games happen. Its about selling energy drinks to Thais. Who's Thais and why don't they contact him directly?

In fact in 1991 that Donald Trump draw happened in New York. It's been going on for 26 years. I maintain you're both wrong. Whilst there is obviously minimal impact in the here and now and realistically no-one cares. It's a matter of time until games happen abroad and that's a terrible thought. If the draw was on at 5pm on BBC1 I still probably wouldn't watch it but I don't think this is in any way good.

Surely it matters as it's a slippery slope to round three games being played in Asia or America with fans being left out in the cold or paying £000's to travel. That's a big leap, I think. This is no different to doing the draw on Soccer AM, only earlier. It's not a leap it's a slippery slope - keep up I already said that! Yes it is different. It's deliberately trying to attract interest abroad. We already have friendlies being played abroad and it won't be long until first team games happen.

The only thing I'm not sure on (and it's probably more to do with my understanding of planning applications than anything else) is didn't we challenge the conditions that were on the existing planning and get those removed last December? If so why are we submitting a new plan now? Why didn't we do it all in one hit? Also regardless of what people think of the content it's good to see another response to requests for updates. Regardless of whether we like what we are getting the communication from this board is 10X better than any of the sh*t statements served up under Higgs. I think that was my thought at the time. 'Appen the sale of the land was dependent on the lifting of restrictions and they didn't want to delay that, or go to the expense and time involved in building design and approval ahead of [before completing on the] buying of the land. Makes sense.

What on Earth does it matter? It's like Christmas Eve, we go to bed wondering who Fulham or we get in R3 and we find out when we wake up. Surely it matters as it's a slippery slope to round three games being played in Asia or America with fans being left out in the cold or paying £000's to travel.

All seems fairly reasonable scores for me except JP. Him and Brown were outstanding for me both defended solidly and were heavily involved in build up play going forward.
Sercombe looks a hell of a signing.
Ollie Clarke needs to stay in the team.
Thought sweeney looked shaky for the first 30 (turned several times by his man) but then perfectly solid until the last 2 mins.
Special mention for Ellis who worked his socks off and on another day could have had a goal or two.

He can say what be likes as far as Im concerned. Over time he has said many things, some true, some that were not so true. I am sure he has been used in the past to put stuff out there, true or otherwise simply because they know he will plaster it all over the internet At the end of the day, its internet fora, we can only make our opinions and assumptions on the written word. I dont particularly care what anyone thinks of me based on the forum and I dont generally take any offense or anything personally that might be said, because its a football forum and i aint that precious My attitude has always been that if anyone ever wants to take anything up with me in person they are more than welcome to. I dont hide behind a username, there is a picture of me in my avatar. Sprout Agree with all of that. I will add, forum or not, there is never any excuse for being rude to anyone. What if the other person is of the red persuasion?

Wael referenced the people we are using as stadium experts are involved in Brentford's build. I got no hint that Dwane are involved.

I think Wael did fine in that interview. He has a group of stadium builders on our side, they have already built a dozen stadiums.Wael knows full well we need a big capacity to play in the top division,so I assume this will be taken into account by the New Mem planners. Training ground is still awaiting PP.Once it arrives, the building at The Coloney begins. UTG! I can't find anything on the South Glos website about outstanding planning. I may be missing it but as far as I can tell the last application was decided with conditions in December and there is no appeal lodged. The status of the training ground is really unclear. Anyone got a link for outstanding planning applications?
