Two more, dodging tax and income and turning on your own. Both equally as bad as i see it Anyway, enough about the Catholic church. This is about some allegations, that if true could have been resolved by ex employees seeking recourse by legal means. But yet...nothing. Haha with your previously announced fondness of a 10 year old club from govan dodging tax and turning on your own is your business model

Hope they don't turn up tomorrow, would be a long wait. Ha ha. Good spot Hi all could it be in a few weeks our manager will have more convictions and done more jail time than most of our hooligans (excluding myself obviously) and most of their convictions would be fuelled by drink , what’s his excuse could it be the case that we are the only club where the hooligans are embarrassed by the behaviour of the manager couldn’t make it up

Recurring incedent at Colchester v Grimsby, can't all be Milwall or WHU fans with a lack of inetlligence and ignorance then, Chairman has offered a ST refund to those who don't wish to support the bended knee at his club I lived / worked in Bermondsey early 80s it was literally a no go area for whites after dark ( except drunken paddies ) who did what ever they wanted I find it quite ironic that the areas where this happens are densely populated by bame its way for middle classes to tut and say how awful but they don’t live amongst it inner city life is hard and people react to being overlooked

Last week's survey gave me an idea. Sorry to pinch it. As many of you as possible reply to this thread with your favourite Rovers player of all time. I will set a deadline to close the vote and collate the results. Depending on responses... No sabotaging, just a name. We can do different subjects each time. Just for fun. 😊 Andy. Mickey Barrett he would have gone on to do do so much more absolute gentleman as well

Kate Bush is amazing, very underrated She’s a bloody diva and difficult to work with. A friend used to be one of her roadies and said she caused lots of trouble in every gig, for promoters and the venues. Her rider was unreasonable too In the late eighties me and Scully worked on peter Gabriels new recording studio in box seen quite a few famous people including Kate there on the whole they all seemed complete knobs but Gabriel was the worst treated everyone working there like s**t even though we created a fantastic studio over looking a lake once it was done got all the footpaths closed as the public walking by disturbed the artists although amazulu ( girl band ) were good down to earth girls

Well that's that all football suspended until early April but realistically there's no chance of it restarting then. Shrewsbury Town just announced by not playing their remaining home matches they will miss out on lost revenue to the tune of £250,000. Unless the Football League put together a rescue plan then a lot of clubs including our's won't survive, although i guess we will all have more pressing demands on our home/worklife! Very best of luck to you all hopefully see you all in the autumn club and family intact! I’ve been self isolating since 2015 as I’m in the at risk group with little to no immune system & I really couldn’t care about me but I care fir others. Just be sensible and do not panic. I too, wish all of you the very best of health and luck. As usual, I’ve seen people ripping the p155 out of this yet not even the apparent experts foresaw this yet China was on lockdown, very quickly and they have previous on not being open and honest. Stay safe, be mindful and be lucky Same here mate in my nearly sixty years on this mortal coil I had cancer 3 times nearly drowned when I was eight survived a house fire serious care crash in my teens been stabbed , bottled , glassed got high blood pressure , diabetes , acid reflux and a blood clot on my brain and it looks like I’m going be done in because a geezer ate a bat in China I too self isolated when I moved up to darkest Gloucestershire but looking at the locals I don’t think they have quite got over the Black Plague yet so f**k knows what this will do to them like you not too worried about myself just glad my kids and grand children will be ok .to old the old boys on here stay safe hope you all come through this

Look what happened end of that 1999/00 season that defeat at relegated Cardiff still haunts me it was the only time in that season we were not in play off position. Roberts and Cureton wanted away and we imploded only one win over City 2-0 in our final ten league matches. Worst ever day for me took a right shoeing from a mob of soul crew before the game lost 3 teeth terrible result then on the Monday checked my evil post dream team you which I had been winning for about a month to see I been pipped at the post by 5 points and lost first prize of £2000 to a bloke who had forty teams entered would love to know what really happened with the players

A magnificent servant to the football club. When I started watching Rovers, I always took comfort from his height. He looked like a massive beacon in defence. My favourite part of his game was when Bobby Campbell took over. He would stand on the near post at corners and flick on headers for Randall to finish. It worked countless times. Really sad day and I wonder how many of our current players will watch us after they hang up their boots. A great loss and his appearance record will never be beaten. What more can you say than that to substantiate his contribution? Stuart Taylor was a hero of mine growing up because we all wanted to be Bruce bannister ,Alan warboys or later even paul Randall but knew we never could but Stuart was a man with limited ability compared to his piers but he had an incredible spirt that he would make the most of , in all the time he spent at rovers he never once gave less than 100% a class player who gave his all to rovers another one of my favourite team gone now hope his up in heaven chewing the cud with his mate lyndsey thank you mr Taylor for all the pleasure you gave me growing up a giant of a man in every way UTG

They will be the first of many some drastic changes in the lower leagues coming too many owners who don’t care about the fans too much money in the premiership due to overseas interest yet more fans actually attend non premiership sad really tv money has killed football I agree that Bury could be the first of many but I think that there are a lot of factors. Lower league clubs seem to have an older fanbase and that is unsustainable,I expect that more Rovers supporters have died in the last 3 years than new supporters have started to go to games. Also going to a football match is a lot more expensive than it was years ago plus there was very little else to do then compared to now. Take one example, gyms, there used to be just Graftons and that was expensive, now there are dozens of gyms in fact we must be at saturation point,I would bet that more young people go to the gym than go to Rovers and city games. I go to the gym 4 times a week,a total of 9 hours including swimming, there are various classes included in the membership a pool, steamroom etc etc and it works out at £8.50 a week ! Times have changed, just look at how many pubs have closed down in the last few years. I am amazed that clubs like Bury have managed to keep going this long on gates of 3000 or less, probably a lot of clubs will have to drop into non league football with part time players. Well I tried my hardest to keep as many pubs as possible open 🍺🍺🍺

There but for the grace of Wael al-Qadi, we go? A sobering thought......... I think it is even more of a sobering thought that we have owners who care about the club about as much as Dale cared for Bury. Wael may care, but it has been apparent for some while that he isn't the one holding the purse strings. They will be the first of many some drastic changes in the lower leagues coming too many owners who don’t care about the fans too much money in the premiership due to overseas interest yet more fans actually attend non premiership sad really tv money has killed football

Many people would have known Brian Daly from Rovers and I suspect those that did know him will have heard by now that he died earlier this week. I think he may have been an occasional poster on forums as 'Benalmedena gas' This is just a note to those who may not have seen or use Facebook that Brian's funeral will be on Monday September 9th, 2.15 at Canford, then back to the Mem for a few tears. beers and laughs as we remember the life of a huge character. All welcome Forty years ago we all went to QPR first game of the season ( eventful day for many reasons ) fresh faced teenagers who thought we were the dogs bollocks now we have to say good bye to another old tote ender but also to a great man rest in peace mate UTG

"Graham Coughlan has quickly shut down the transfer rumour doing the rounds in Scotland that Bristol Rovers are interested in signing Rangers’ teenage winger Josh McPake on loan. The League One transfer window remains open until September 2 and Coughlan is known to be in the market for a speedy wideman. With little money to spend, the Irish manager has made no secret of the fact that any additions to his squad would likely have to be a loan deal, and players will probably have to exit his squad to make room. Asked whether he was in for McPake, the Irish manager responded in complete shock at the question. He replied: “From Rangers? Rangers? Are you actually telling me I am going to be signing a Rangers player? If he was from Celtic I might think about it. " .... I kid you not. Post journalists resort to the transfer rumour sites for a story nowadays. Well Celtic won't be looking for him to post their squad for an extended Euro run!! Celtic still in Europe for two more weeks at least🍀🍀

I think wael might have gone rogue on this nothing on official site there was supposed to be an announcement about 3 weeks ago but was pulled at the last minute something has to be announced tomorrow or he’s going to look rather stupid my understanding was he wasn’t even involved with this Afternoon D, I am pretty sure I read that the bank of Kuwait are invisible lnvolved along with another Arabic country’s bank, not Jordan. Think I saw it on twitter but can’t be arsed it look. When people say the right side of the river, I have always thought that, once you go over the netham, it’s 82 territory. Would be a swine to get to & Park if coming by car. There are still a fair few active businesses on the road leading up to it. Could it be that this was WAQ’s way of leaving, with his head high or still staying ? Perfect for me mate got a railway station at the bottom of my garden 25 mins to temple meads surely this is in the “dings” a rovers stronghold before the Germans tried to destroy it we will see but boys of our age running out of time now although it would be great seeing all the old tote end boys having a knees up in motion

If you are driving to a match at fruit market stadium where are you going to park? It’s chaff. To distract from the manager had no money to spend and the team look like relegation fodder. I think wael might have gone rogue on this nothing on official site there was supposed to be an announcement about 3 weeks ago but was pulled at the last minute something has to be announced tomorrow or he’s going to look rather stupid my understanding was he wasn’t even involved with this

Hope you own a big spoon lots of humble pie to eat soon mucker Here we go, someone sounds butthurt. I haven't said that the club won't change hands as clearly, inevitably, one day it will. OK, if it's true and about to happen just give details. Don't be one of those people who suggest something to try to make themselves look important (this thread is 7 months old now, sooner or later something will happen) and then when eventually some shares change hands pretend that they knew everything all along. If you don't give details then it's fair to assume that you are just guessing or it's more beer talk and if anything does transpire then it's nothing more than coincidence. So come on, let's have the details, then we'll all know that you are to be taken seriously. Think wael just announced it get your fing spoon out

Sorry but that makes no sense. So, the explanation is that £10 earned through interest justifies losing £20 running the show. Is it just me or would only a complete moron run a company in that way? But they won't have lost anything in running the show. Initial 7.2 million to repay the previous board and MSP Capital Further say 8.3 million to cover trading losses (running the show) excluding interest Interest say 2.0 million Total 17.5 million Mem sold for 17.5 million and loan of 17.5 million repaid I think we are all missing something here bristol city council could in theory block any development of the site and maybe even put something in place to state it must be a sports facility and I don’t think Marvin and co would relish the thought of the gas dying on their watch and Hani and co could have a very expensive white elephant let’s hope it doesn’t come to that time will tell UTG

No, because he has no answer to the financial problems that are piling up, and plays the fool - which he no doubt is. So, has Wael blocked the latest rumour of a future so bright that our corneas will be damaged? Your opinion mate or something you’ve been told .?wont be the first man to go from hero to villain r

The carcass has almost been picked dry the likes of hamer Staines Cunnah etc have all topped up their pension pots although I’ve changed my mind about Wael I had him down as a carpetbagger but looking how he’s been played I think there’s a village in Jordan missing an idiot luckily for him his other family members are much sharper they’ve let him have his plaything for the last few years let him think he is the big I am but soon they’ll pull it and for their troubles make a few million where as we will be be left with the bare bones to try to survive even in the worst eastville and twerton days I always thought I had my club but now I’m not so sure UTG Evening, Deggers. I share your concerns; I hope we're wrong. But you've got to punctuate, my dear old thing. I do apologise but at present I’m on a drip in hospital, typing left handed on more drugs than Pete docherty .
