Good to hear you're picking up KP. Thank goodness for the vaccine. It doesn't work for everyone, but it does give us a fighting chance. Talking of fighting, if you weren't watching the Sam Egginton fight you might like to kP. Flippin eck it's a good one Boosters coming up in this month I'm told.

Don’t take me wrong as i was very unwell on Tuesday and we were thinking of calling an ambulance but i have meds here so tried some pain relief and steroids, it took the edge off of it and i managed to get to breathe much better. I’m now sure this kick started the wegeners as I’m coughing blood but can feel myself coming back. I know one or two have had it here and I’d like to ask, how was your sleep ? I have only managed around 2-3 hours each day and this makes it worse as you heal as you sleep. I even tried a sleeping pill but it never touched me, its like my body has become immune to my meds, weird. Thank you for your always kind and positive words of encouragement Angas

You have stated before that you have the incredible ability to know when someone is being disingenuous or not telling the truth. I am sure you cannot be right all of the time Steve. I have seen some of the texts from Wael but I understand i have to be careful so am not talking of it, well i just have but not content. Nothing to write home about but i would suggest a bit wrong in doing that. Anyway, i am growing tired of this so will let it go as i said, I don’t have the time nor inclination for drama nowadays as i value what time i have now. I hope you and a few others prove me wrong and that Wael is a raving success as i love my club but , from the evidence so far, i am not close to hopeful enjoy the rest of your day mate, good to see you here more often. Perhaps you could be right, but in the case of Wael Al’Qadi, I find no fault in his honesty or integrity of how he has been with me. I’m not sure what you mean by the texts from Wael? Have a good weekend abs UTG. Texts to fans, of both gender before anyone gets silly thoughts

Thank you for your always kind and positive words of encouragement Angas The reports I've heard from people when they've talked about sleep has been the opposite KP; that they've felt more tired and had more sleep than usual - for a few days they've practically been sleeping throughout the day. I only know of one with long-Covid and he was still sleeping through until past 2pm three months after contracting the virus. One local good news story I've heard this week (I don't know the person - same work-place, different team), is of someone coming out of a coma after 5 weeks and being able to hold their baby for the first time. They contracted the virus and the decision was taken to go ahead with the birth early. Still a long way to go to full recovery though. I think that not only have we got the vaccines, but also our amazing doctors and nurses now know a lot more about Covid-19 than they did this time last year, and are better placed to know how to treat those infected - both the vaccines and the medical treatment give us hope.

No I havent. Not said anything to him about anything. You can if you want to itb. I can't think why you'd want to tho! I'm finding the concept a bit of a giggle (not the concept who posts on here obvs, though he/ she does post some good stuff) Oh. Right. So just 'some good stuff', then... I see.

1. Oh dear. That's a bit disingenuous of you. Receiving PM's is pretty much akin to whispering in ones ear, is it not? 2. Refusing to answer a very simple question makes you sound just like a Tory cabinet minister trying to deflect, defending the indefensible. Meow. 3. Wael is an incredibly slow learner. After 5 1/2 years of 'leadership' we are 16th in League 2 and burning through £50k a week. He has successfully divided the support base. Just for the record, I am happy to answer the question. The senior management team at Bristol Rovers FC is incompetent. Perhaps there is a tendency to over-analyse certain situations. regarding the PM's, we have had a few (I'd forgotten). Some in early 2020, then a few more in May this year. Hardly 'whispering in my ear', and no different to several people I've exchanged them with on here. I've checked that we had some, but not re-read them. I don't think the content was any different to what's on here. If you think he's trying to use me as a influencer, in the same way that some think the Board are trying to use him as an influencer, I suspect a conspiracy theory I quite like sound of sounding like a cabinet minister though. Tory, I'm not so sure, but we haven't had any other types for so long. But I'm not one for simplifying things into binary boxes and I don't think that Wael has either divided the support base. I think you're being melodramatic. He has created sharp divides over the choice of manager, and between a few supporters. The second part of that is part of BAU I think - I remember how Nick Higgs got along with one of the previous directors, or how Geoff Dunford used to get pilloried on here. And I don't think I'd be so rude as to describe someone as being 'an incredibly slow learner'. Shame on you I’d forgotten this too. I’ve had a quick read of out PMs and there is nothing in there which is slanted or condemning or which give a particular narrative.

I had the non stop sleeping first time but this time i have had steroids and i know they interrupt sleep but this is ridiculous. I can only think it’s another variant but I’m being a good boy and isolating as per the rules but its doing my head in. I’m far from fully well but much much better. My GP says i have freak syndrome as the medications i have had, either don’t work as they should or i need 2-3 times the normal dose. I’m really hoping i get my smell and taste back as its very difficult to force food down that you cannot taste so I’ve been eating bananas, rice pudding with lots of cinnamon yet all i taste is sweet and salt, fingers crossed it will pass soon enough and I’m extremely grateful for the NHS and the vaccines.

Lots of people that I know have been ill this week in Bristol and South Glos, some of them have had no contact with each other so they are catching it from seperate sources. Odd thing is that the ones who have been tested for Covid are negative,so they either havent got Covid and theres another bug going around or the tests arent very accurate. Covid deaths up 15 to 20 times on this time last year in UK (just wait until the students have been back a week or two) so this Delta variant must be a lot more deadly as well as more infectious, the vaccines arent so efficient with the Delta variant either. Anyway I hope that you feel better soon KP.

Anyway I hope that you feel better soon KP. I have been studying the stats as well, I don’t think it bodes well and i am the sort that likes to keep a bit of money put away, its going to be a very hard winter for many. This time around i have had my throat affected and had severe bone pain and extremely long and protracted fevers. I started to eat my first proper meals around 19:00 last night and have periodic taste and smell. This has been quite a bit different to last time, that was relatively easy by comparison but i was vaccinated very early, due to underlying conditions. I do understand what you are saying as only my mrs has been infected by me, i contacted all others i came into contact with and all are ok, thank god. I had my first sleep last night, slept 5 hours so I’m happy with that. I have also eaten a decent breakfast. I have an appointment for PCR test on Wednesday so I’m hoping it comes back negative and i can get back to earning again. Thanks for your kind wishes I’m having my flu jab much earlier this year, the 18th so I wonder if the doctors believe we have more threat to come. Normally my flu jab in November

I note that cases are on the increase in Wiltshire (where I live) - went to the supermarket yesterday, and the number of people who sailed straight past me, as I was disinfecting my hands and wiping the trolley down, was staggering. I think that people have become far too complacent because of the jabs.

KP, check with your gp about the wisdom of having the flu jab so soon after having covid. Your body is still recovering, I'd question whether it's the right time to be asking it to produce yet another set of antibodies. At least get his/her thoughts so you can weigh up for yourself what you want to do.

I felt pretty good today but tonight I feel rough again. It’s so weird

I have to say that, while most fans can take the fortunes of their club with equanimity and a sense of humour and reality, there are those who take it to a ridiculous and unwarranted extreme. I can never understand it - it's just a game and there's always tomorrow.

The worst thing you can do is to react to such stupid posts because it shows you to be sensitive and other will play on that. That ship has now sailed, if i had a quid for each time i was told to eff off back to Poland and called a Polish Basaaard then id have a fair few quid. Ignore and block is easiest and best in my opinion
