Brilliant, so we have: Higgs, Dunford Bradshaw, King, Ware, Jelf, Seymour-Smith, Masters. More Directors than you can shake a stick at, every single one of them carrying responsibility for record losses and 2 relegations, none of them have resigned but they think it's right to get rid of Steve Burns and Trish, neither of who, as far as I'm aware, have done anything wrong. If the volunteers who work at Pirate Leisure continue to man the shop for free then I only hope their consciences are clear when they see Steve clear his desk and leave for the last time.

oops- I was trying to respond to this point and failed. The Directors are as far as I know all unpaid and the reality is that they have put their hands in their pockets and given personal guarantees.
If we are to transfer players in then the Bank will insist that the Directors personally guarantee the transfer fees - this has been the case for some time. I suspect that someone of them would love to resign and walk away from the mess but they cant extract themselves.

New player will be on the books today :england: :england: :goal: This will be the moment when we know if we are planning on blowing away the rubbish teams at this level or hanging around with a team of hopeful youngsters and Conference journeymen. The review seems to be over, and every aspect has no doubt been reviewed. As far as I can tell the reason that after 94 years Rovers are no longer a League club is that we had the wrong backroom staff and Wycombe bent some rules which gave them the competitive advantage of having probably half the money available that Rovers had. Still, lessons have no doubt been learned, our leadership team is intact, UWE is on target to start as soon as a few minor legal technicalities that there hasn't been time to deal with in the last 12 months are sorted, nothing can stop our charge up the Leagues now, can it?

On the plus side, it does appear that the financial consequences of a scenario which happened one month ago having been on the cards for at least four years have now been to some extent assessed by Mr Tombola.

I can answer that Bamber - The funding for Mr Tombola's current salary is in place and has been for for some time.
