Overall, straight-talking again, though understandably reluctant to comment on details in several/most areas that GT asked about GT asked about the areas under heavy discussion on forums IMO
1-2 players got to go to bring in targets. Doesn't want to name names Got targets, but doesn't want to suggest which part of team they want to strengthen Al Qadis haven't sought a buyer for the club/no agent appointed per MS's info Additional investment coming from the Al Qadis currently Would only look to sell if others could take the club further/faster
2 directors currently KM suspended from board duties. Can't say more as it is subject to legals. Respective solicitors will start talking to each other Good reason and action not taken lightly, but can't comment further at present Tried to sort it out before SC taken legal advice, BRFC have responded to it. Die has been cast by the SC appointing solicitors, though MS will sit down with them if they are willing. GT will approach SC to ask in the next couple of days
Overall making progress. Come a long way on and off the field last 18 months. Currently having a blip Want to improve the fans' experience, including attractiveness of the football (one of the reasons BG was brought in) Fans feedback sought last few days. Followed up on the same last year with actions
GT asked if comms with fans are good enough. Bit of an awks moment when MS smiled/laughed silently, and GT asked him why he had done so
So nothing new, but MS shooting straight as far as he could I think. But apart from GT saying he will approach the SC in the next couple of days, we are no further forward I think

I didn’t listen to interview as well away from Bristol, but the other forum has gone into meltdown.

I didn’t listen to interview as well away from Bristol, but the other forum has gone into meltdown. Said nothing of note, apart from, as vaughan and AMPG have said, when asked if the communication was good enough he laughed so Geoff eviscerated him. I think it's clear he knows the club are taking the p*ss. Some have argued that it's a cultural thing, but Wael was educated here and has been involved in football here for a long time, including as a fan, so that doesn't wash. The sooner he clears off the better.

I think GTY will have lost all respect for him after that.
GT knew the answers and MS didn't give the correct ones.

Well I can't categorically say that he isn't aware of an agent in London handling the sell of the club or that buyers have been in discussion and continue to be but I would be amazed if he wasn't.

They both did their job. GT asked the right questions. MS didn't answer them.

I must admit I thought the same. But it would probably cost him his job if he were to say anything, so I give him a free pass on that one

I don't know was probably a little white job-saving lie, at the cost of not looking great

Do you think those mysterious buyers in super secret discussions with some people but definitely NOT the CEO of the club, might just consider waiting until May in order to potentially pick up a 4th Division shambles of a club instead of a 3rd division shambles of a club a bit cheaper?

Accept what we are and thank our lucky stars we are not going same way as Bury or Bolton.

If you really believe that we will survive the way we are then with respect you need to wake up.

They both did their job. GT asked the right questions. MS didn't answer them. So it's just the same as GT asking Steve Hamer. But this time without the buffoonery.

Perhaps a pertinent question for Martyn Starnes would have been “ how long does it take to arrange a ground share and get it approved by the football authorities ?”
One crumb of comfort is that in the survey on the other forum 33% of fans like Wael’s ownership and 33% are undecided. So when he makes an appeal for funds to help the club survive there should be plenty of people willing to give generously.

I think that if attendances keep falling and season ticket sales drop, the qadi might try and close the club down and get as much money as they can, could they do that ? I expect that any action they take would be when the seasons over so that there could be no embarrassing scenes at matches.
