Then the argument is if Ken’s reputation is defamed it’s for him to launch the action personally not the SC. Also general comment on defamation cases, they are not nice to be involved in for either side. They can go disastrous wrong, ask Oscar Wilde, Archer and Aitken. Also what happens if KM wins, got little in the way of damages but still had to fund the costs? As I say legal proceedings are not something you enter into lightly. As there is obvious fans interest should we crowd fund to raise the legal fees perhaps get a top lawyer and maybe some fans protest at the aFleetwood game with posters Ken is innocent or Bring back Masters. Bambi could lead a group of gasheads down Gloucester Road holding up the traffic? Why would I do that until I've heard evidence from all involved parties? At this stage I don't know why Ken has been excluded from certain areas of the ground, when that's out in the open and we hear Ken's rebuttal, if indeed he chooses to issue one, then we can consider the available evidence and form an opinion, at this stage, I don't have one. But either way, I won't hold up traffic, these protests that inconvenience people who aren't involved are just childish and selfish and do nothing to win over support.

Bambi could lead a group of gasheads down Gloucester Road holding up the traffic? But didn’t you earlier say it’s only the SC’s business not non-members? So maybe the demo or crowd funding can only be SC members? Contrary to what Boris says you can’t have your cake and eat it. The fans representative either represents the interests of all fans, or just those of SC members. i predict sweet FA will happen either legally, demos or otherwise. This incident will be a small postscript in the ‘official history’ of BRFC in years to come, assuming the club still exists then. My thought is that Jim has been hasty in picking up the phone to the SC's solicitors. If Ken insists that he has done nothing at all wrong then Jim should have contacted Wael to seek clarification for the justification of the exclusion.

If we're going to use a Pirate, can we use a proper one and not the camp vaudeville effort we have now? Yeah we should probably use the image of Ching Shih instead, would appeal more to the female and far east market but then we’d have to change the colour of our strip. In your opinion, what does a ‘proper’ pirate look like? One biting the head off a robin, rather than one who looks like he'd struggle to bite the top off a candy floss.

Is that a joke or is JC also due on air, if so, what time is he due on the show? Doubt Jim would do an interview while legal proceedings are happening. Funny how Jim and Ken were ridiculed by many on here and are now the subject of much debate! And they're still being ridiculed.

Like it, so we are going for traditional, rough and ready, cutlass in hand, ready to repel all attempts to board his fine vessel. Should this Pirate suffer from psittacosis, dysentery and tuberculosis? I mean, it's hard to imagine a swashbuckling marauder, pillaging his way around the seven seas, whilst maintaining a rigorous daily personal hygiene regime. One final question, will our corsair go with the modern look of no hair beneath the chin?

I think Harry follows Oscar Wilde: ”the one thing in life worse than being talked about, is not being talked about” it’s the any publicity is good publicity school of thought.

I was wondering if the qadi/Dwayne might use this as an excuse to start an "official supporters club" run by the football club. There used to be two supporters clubs years ago,the True Blue club and Bristol Rovers supporters club,I don't know what happened to the True Blue club.

Not a SC but I can see the FC running away travel options next season. And kick the SC out of the Bristol room.

It's all a bit confusing. Didn't you say that it wasn't true? The Masters thing that it, not Oscar, he was real and always got a good chorus when he walked in front of The Tote End.

It's difficult to see what the SC have now that's of any particular value to the FC

I have a programme from the first Rovers match that I went to,Peterborough at Eastville April 67 and Bristol Rovers Supporters Club AND Bristol Rovers True Blue Club have half a page of notes. BRSC notes say that at Bournemouth on the Easter Monday there were 9 coaches from BRSC and 5 from BRTBC and that "joint travel arrangements with the Supporters Club and the True Blues are now functioning smoothly and wasteful expenditure has been eliminated by this co-operation" etc etc. I cant see the relationship between the two sides being so cosy now. Quite interesting to read the notes as the two clubs both used to put social events on weekly as well as away travel.

Yes, I knew that Tried to forget, but it won't go away. I can see him now, looking like he lived in a Ford Escort and had beaten up a cinema usherette to get his little thing that he wore to carry his wares around in. Is anybody crazy enough to admit buying anything from him?
