From The BBC:
Bristol Rovers have granted manager Ben Garner an extended period of leave to deal with a private matter regarding the health of a close family member.
The League One club confirmed first-team coach Kevin Maher will take charge for their FA Cup third-round replay at Coventry City on Tuesday.
Garner, 39, was appointed Rovers boss in December following the departure of Graham Coughlan to Mansfield Town.
He is yet to win having lost three of his first four league games in charge.

A very difficult time, small wonder he appeared a little disinterested/distracted during Saturday's match.
Best wishes to him and his family.

It's being said Ben's daughter is in intensive care. Awful time for him and his family. Can't expect anything of anyone going through such worry; that's just unbearable. Best wishes to Mr Garner and family.

Bristol Post says he was told straight after the match yesterday. That's why he didn't do the post match interview. I hope he gets good news soon. Football is neither here nor there in the grand scheme of things.

There is never a good time for something like this to happen to anyone but I do especially feel for him given that he’s just started at the job he’s built his whole career up towards. I sincerely hope his family member makes a swift and full recovery and that we see him in the dugout again soon.
