This new manager has gone up massively in my estimation. Quite clearly he has seen enough of our most useless of strikers to realise he could take him down with the ship. Why has it taken so long? Is Gavin Reilly still on loan?

No, Reilly is back with us. But how long for?! he is being loaned to Rochdale and we get Willbraham in his place. Ben wants to know about his yoga fitness class.

f**k my old boots!, further indications the malaise at the club is over. This character will have to be paid off I’m afraid no one with half a brain cell will touch him.

Why have the owners sat on their hands and watched Nichols walking around the pitch for 2 1/2 years?
Leadership starts at the top.
Of course, they could argue that previous managers insisted that he stay, but even Wael wouldn't say something as crazy as that.
Goodbye Tom, you've let yourself down here and won't be missed.
You have the rest of your life to look back and wonder what could have been had you worked hard, thought about why every other player was faster and stronger than you. You have technical ability, so your attitude has probably prevented you following Taylor, Bodin and Ellis into the 2nd tier. Congratulations, you've been a fool to yourself.

So everyone who said he was crap like me were obviously right then. What a total waste of time playing him ahead of other strikers on the books. What will all you Nichols lovers have to say now.

Let's show a bit of dignity.
BG is the kid in the King's New Suit fable.....in years to come, someone will ask why did we put up with a non striking striker for so long? With gritted teeth, will have to say DC (the so say legend) and GC (the so say dropped us in the s) both persisted with playing it.
So did caretaker manager and BG...?
I'm still baffled? How did TN find his way into the pitch so often? Without massive, wholesale viterol?? The irony is, in his most successful stint (4 goals), TN has apparently been invited to find a new club.
Walsall? Mansfield? Who knows?
I've never seen the like of it, coupled with arguably us plying our way at the top of divIII and our most successful year this millennium..

Reilly maybe to Rochdale. Nichols to Emmerdale - they are short of a hair dresser in make-up apparently.

When I think back at the vitriol towards Steve White, Paul Tait, Martin Cameron, Mickey Evans etc, these players were like Ian Rush compared to Nicholls, yet TN would still get clapped off the pitch!! 4 goals in 94. Will never be surpassed.

4 goals in 94. Will never be surpassed. There must be goalkeepers with a better scoring record.

A good win tonight would have ensured a sizeable crowd Sat but even with the newbies don't think it will be anything special.Newbies must be wondering what they have come to with that display and our Dickensian infrastructure.

A trio of the club's youngsters have headed out loan in search of first-team experience.
Harry Warwick has today completed a one-month youth loan to Dorchester Town and could be in line to make his debut against Truro City on Saturday.
U18's Luc Noble has joined Mangotsfield on a work-experience loan, ahead of their fixture this weekend away at Sholing.
Earlier this week, U18's 'keeper Harry Thomas-Barker completed a loan deal to Frome Town and featured in their midweek fixture against Swindon Supermarine.

Steve White for us 44 goals in 150 games, Paul Tait 20 goals in 81 games, Martin Cameron 8 goals in 49 games & Mickey Evans 6 goals in 26 games for us.

I think garner has handled the nichols situation badly. No need to go for public humiliation in my view especially with the injury problems and the doubts about adebeyo and reilly.
