Congratulations Garner, you have taken a team with a record of DDWWWD and turned it right around, now LDLDDL.
Promotion form into relegation form, in the blink of an eye.

Can't be many new managers with the gas or any other team that have had such an awful start.

keep walking Ed. no positives from that whatsoever. Not a single shot on target. Not a single chance created. the kid from Derby has to be sent back that was schoolboy football not joined in with his colleagues for professional football at all. Garner like that young chap in Master and Commander who had to weigh himself down and go over the side, the Jonah he is. 4 2 3 1 it was. Effective it wasunt dust off the cv, managerial vacancy coming up before end of season. He’s not going to win any of the next 3 or 4, ten to fifteen without a win I think garner will walk.

I think we have employed Bob Bradley by mistake.

Listening to him talk, he's pretty self satisfied, so it's highly unlikely that he thinks that what's happened since he arrived is his fault in any way.

I really didn't think it could get any worse after Milton Keynes...but it just did.

Absolute crap. This team will struggle to stay up if tonight's performance is an indicator of things to come. Real shame but more worryingly the players didn't have a clue..

Rollin rollin rollin rawhide needed to be taken out of the firing line some games ago. He shows promise but increasingly making errors. You expect errors with kids breaking in a side. Same with killer, far less errors than rawhide, but not a full back in a 4 2 3 1. a gas friend said to me the other day, that keeper is certainly a number two that’s for sure. No he’s not a number 2 at this level of football, shouldn’t even be at this club. The keeper is causing defensive errors with his haphazard staying and coming. let’s get some talented kids and play them in a 4 2 3 1 attacking formation, and enjoy the skills and creativity. Oh dear, the kids appear to have been bettered by some league two cloggers twice their age, who saw that coming? the worse player on the park tonight was victor. Garners first and second signings should have been league 1 capable strikers, not everything to prove work in progress creators. id be fair to garner he inherited an injury crisis, some decent wage and experience unfit. But that’s not going to save him in next four or five tough fixtures none of which he will win. crisis club caused by fact they have 1 training pitch and sometimes not allowed to use it. That’s why cocko walked and Clarke floundered. Of course garner accepted a route into management, 12 month back Cocko said just give me patch of grass to train them on. But garners smart enough not to hang around. We will have new manager by end of season.

Not having this stuff about injuries etc, every club up and down the land has first choice players injured, and L1 is weak this season. We got beaten by a team 90th out of 91 in the League tonight. Before tonight they had won 2 of their last 16. This mob are even worse than Macclesfield, and they're in total meltdown! Our problems are because we either don't have any kind of game plan, or maybe, Garner is one of those chumps that goes on for hours with a whiteboard, making players watch videos endlessly, and the squad are just overwhelmed with ideas. It matters not, 1 more farce and I would send him on his way.

Garner more or less told everyone who cared to listen that he wanted to change the whole club and the way we play. The players have heard the same and they are confused and demoralised. Garner is in big trouble already in my view.
Wael appointed him imo,its just another of his little fantasies like the training ground and the cat 2 academy.

Woah!, I rose from my pit at 3:30am to watch on ifollow, what a horror show!, Stevenage were twice the team and fully deserved their victory, it seemed to me that every Rovers player (excluding Barrett) wanted to quick pass in any direction to get rid of the ball as nobody had any idea what to do with it if they held onto it, backwards or sideways mostly, but having said that, we did not have a capable striker up front even if we did manage to get the ball forward, Victor, I'm afraid, can only hold the ball and nowt else, shocking performance from a team that have no idea what they are supposed to be doing, Mackail-Smith was tireless and should have got a hat-trick, wish he played for us right now.

I came away after watching this pathetic performance in the driving rain feeling it was just as bad as our FA Trophy defeat at home against Bath City and the FA Cup home defeat by Barrow.
Only Barrett came out of match with any credit.
Players should be ashamed of themselves it was a genuine chance at Wembley.
I cannot see where next goal let alone a win is coming from. Victor is an embarrassment and should be sent back to Barnsley and Phillips given an opportunity.

Defeat in a competition you profess to have no interest in, whilst using an experimental formation and blooding new signings, is absolutely dreadful isn't it? The manager must go. Or maybe not.

He gave a few players the opportunity to hang themselves last night and that’s exactly what they did. The players that s**t all over Daryll and were petrified of GC clearly think Garner is a soft touch, they are about to find out he isn’t.

That manner of defeat, against a team who probably could do without having to play another game, is seriously worrying. Whether I feel that the format of the competition is one worthy of support has no bearing whatsoever on Rovers' overall performances since this bloke arrived.

6 games in and Ben Garner looks in real trouble. I'll stick my head above the parapet - we should back him. At leat til Easter (or say 10 league games). This Club is in massive trouble on and off the pitch. Under GC we over-achieved with a very mediocre squad. Ben Garner has walked into a sh*t show. Give him a chance to turn it round. He's trying to get rid of Nichols. For that alone I stand by him. SUPPORT the manager. Give him a chance. Creating a toxic atmosphere will not help.

So, in your opinion, he has no man management skills and is about to resort to threats and attempting to bully the players. Great, that always ends well.

He has turned it around, we haven't won a game since he got here.
