Any suggestions. Striker and midfielder urgently required.
Do we go for a veteran striker like Nicky Maynard or an unheard of youngster on loan from a Championship club ?
Will we offload a few players?

A right back.
Left winger/midfielder.
A striker if JCH leaves.
A striker to play alongside JCH,if he stays.

Right fullback/wingback. Some pace in midfield
Do we send Victor and Tyler back? What happens to Reilly and Moore? Can we offload Bennett? Any bids for JCH?
The answer to the four questions help determine our budget. Injury list may shape other requirements. Little, THD, Davies, Hare, Mathews any of these going to be fit soon and last more than a couple of games?

Would really like Piggot/Doyle.
A Jordan Clarke too..
Gotta feeling we'll get that fella we usually sign... Jack Sh*t.
More importantly, I don't want to see anyone go. Our back 6 are (Wimbledon/Southend apart)very reliable, so except Bennett and Nichols, try to keep some continuity.

If anyone thinks our owners have any intention of spending any money they are living on cloud cuckoo land.

Bringing players in will be reliant on getting players out imo, trouble is with a player like bennett if we loan him out nobody will pay his full wages. I think moore will be released as i'm pretty sure his contract is up in january.

Also and as I heard a Gashead say on "Having a Gas", if we beat Coventry City in the Cup and get drawn against a big club,The attendance cash might play apart in our January shopping. Just to add a couple more " ifs" and hope.

Oh and if we sign a player or two, heust be able to work and challenge when the opposition have the ball. No passengers. I think Ben knows this as he has spoken about gettingore speed and athleticism in the squad.

But will Jack Sh|t score more than Nichols? Apparently we're only in with a very outside chance of signing Jack Sh*t - he is weighing up our offer against a couple of Clubs at the lower end of Division 2 who have offered more money. And who have better training facilities. And a stadium that does not look like a tented village. And have ambition. And have owners that are not totally deluded. Sorry you have chosen another Club Jack, I wish you well.

If anyone thinks our owners have any intention of spending any money they are living on cloud cuckoo land. Bang on the money, or lack thereof anecdote alert, some people on the books not getting paid, and new staff can’t be taken on because can’t afford them is what I have been hearing from 2 different sources. So this whole thread about team signings may be very wide of mark about what’s really happening and the problems the clubs in. 😕

Little, THD, Davies, Hare, Mathews any of these going to be fit soon and last more than a couple of games? I would question wether we need to bring in right fulll back wing back. Little’ s a quality player. Hare was one of l1 stars before he got injured. Rods decent wing back filler last few games. I think with smith he is getting good game time with us, will go on to be a solid pro, but he’s not quite there yet. Victor I think is someone who will score heavily at a level, but l1 May never be that level in his career. If you are looking at Nichols Bristol rovers record signing and goodness knows what sort of wage and perk his three year deal has, he’s not delivering to his transfer and pay, because there are not enough goals. On lower pay and playing as a skilful but non scoring link man to a goal scorer forward I think he is still not good enough. We need a decent 2nd forward, if Johnsongoes make that two forwards. we also need at least 1 more midfielder who can run channels and find space and pick a pass. Otherwise whose doing that if one or both of sercs or Clark unavailable

Little and Hare injured, we need an option so we can switch to a flat back four if necessary. Maybe a loan move.
