Just read on facebook from his good friend Phil Bater that former Rovers player and Community Officer Pete Aitken has today entered hospital for a heart bypass operation. In recent years since his retirement from the Club Pete has been involved in the Walking Football Group at Rovers in the Community.
Hope all goes well and a speedy recovery.

Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery. Big stuff, but they work wonders these days.

Doesn't seem so long ago I watched his debut. A player who genuinely gave it his all.
