Trawling through some old photo's I came across these couple of beauties. I honestly don't recognise anyone in the photo and I'm not 100% sure what the away game was but I'm guessing Wembley 1990. Anyone recognise themselves or know anyone? EDIT: Rethink on the 1990 bit, the coach and the clothing look much older. Maybe an away FA Cup game in the 70/80's?

Now I'm wondering if it's Rovers related at all. Possibly the Bristol vs Bath in the 83/84 John Player Cup final at Twickenham.

Top picture bloke on left in light denim shirt with his hand in the air,Sludge ? I was thinking the same. The second photo, definitely Larry Perrot (sp) stood up with tache. Shame he’s not in Bristol now, he got thrown out of his council house, went off radar for a worrying time, left mobile and possessions. Now told he’s with his boy, somewhere in Wilts Also, our very own TV star, Sammy Fry, sat on left, in dark blue jumper. An avid Rangers fan. Could it be old firm related ? He goes regularly

some names
Roy Burnet & Andy Venn along with Roland - These guys played for Glenside St Gabriel’s but this could be the Wembley trip to support Almondsbury Greenway against Billericay ?

Cheers bb. The memory is not what it used to be and I'd completely forgotten about that trip to Wembley but I have a vague memory of a mate getting me last minute tickets for this coach. Have to say, despite, the names, I still have no idea who they are.

With Sherry Hygiene, remember her? He got booed. But then again, that's normal down there innit? Probably thought it was a compliment. Sherry though was something else.... 💙

Yep, definately Roy Burnett { Navy Blue Jumper } & Roland Charles { Wedlock's twin }, played with both of them at Glenside St Gabrials back in the eighties.
