From last 8 matches, we are 5th in the form table.
W4. D2. L2. 14 points.
Half of those matches are without JCH. Bolton and Donny defeats.
I haven't seen every single match but our performances have been generally poor in attack. Rugged in defence.
There is always room for improvement. Questions to be asked: TN-gate. Captaincy question. Strikers or lack of. Injury list. THD. Youth involvement.
I guess if we are playing poorly and still up there, that's a sign of a god team being managed and coached correctly isn't it?
My conclusion is: We are performing above expectations and if we carry on this quota of accruing points, we can be easily play off candidates. I'm quietly impressed.
So.....so far, so good.....?

Ask anyone on here if they'd have taken this position and current form as above after the defeats to Blackpool and Coventry, knowing we missed JCH for 8 games this season and counting and drew with Wycombe who now sit top. After last season I am loudly happy.

To date our form is fairly impressive, but how long can it be maintained?, we cannot continue to punch above our weight and grind out results without strikers no matter how good our defence, here's hoping JCH comes back from injury raring to go, and Tom Nichols finally finds where his football boots have been hiding. COYB!...

The spirit of '90, Taiwan..
There's something there if GC applies himself correctly.

Yes, I agree with your conclusion o2o2. Bolton best team I’ve seen this season so far but I haven’t seen as many as others have but I would say it’s the most open Division 3 for many years at the top. Perhaps Ipswich are the standout team but not unbeatable as has been seen. Last year it was very open at the bottom this year it’s the top and come March perhaps half the league will believe they can do something. So could be our best chance in years to do well in this league esp if JCH stays fit and remains with us. UTG!
