Little Tommy Nichol's has scored one league goal a season since joining us (88 games 3 goals) if TN was replaced by a Totem Pole positioned in the penalty area with the occasional ricochet would we potentially pose more of a goal threat by playing a pole instead of TN?

UTG I prefer “TOTTEND POLL” as a thread title I think the Totem pole would be caught offside a lot but would get away with it as not interfering with play. Also fewer yellow cards. Would only take one errant goal kick or clearance for a solid ricochet so more than one a season doable.

If the pole was about 12ft high it could be effective because thats the normal height of balls launched into our forwards. Its almost as if the manager and players have forgot that JCH is unfit!

Go 'eeee, Kp.. Well thank you kind sir. I managed to get to the game yesterday but am suffering badly. No drink but awful chest crap. Funny as met up with a bunch with whom I used to walk to Eastville with and we had a brilliant time in recounting old war stories and the like. I must admit, when some stories were told, I found it hard to believe it really was me. Regrets ? I have a few indeed but, in my defence, I have never ever started any fighting. Crappy excuse I know but it’s the best I can come up with. BTW for anyone interested, the Polish pronunciation of the second part is Pol Ak or to try another way like the fish, pollock but AK as in attack. Imagine, me having my own thread on here. The only time it will happen in when I’m gone. As always, great to hear from you I was even wearing my I was born under a tote end bar badge.

Overload the opposition box and it isn't that difficult to score. As can be seen on division one quest highlights every weekend.

Nor is it difficult to concede on the counterattack, overloading the box, as you put it.
