From the little I've seen of him Tomlinson is prepared to take on defenders; and when Hargreaves came on recently he almost immediately won a free kick on the edge of the area following a Lines like run at the defence.
But you know they will only get game time due to injuries.rovers game is based on work rate not skill.you may disagree but that is just my opinion But GC said, he is a backer of youth!

Is there anyone in our squad that can take the ball and attack defences? From the little I've seen of him Tomlinson is prepared to take on defenders; and when Hargreaves came on recently he almost immediately won a free kick on the edge of the area following a Lines like run at the defence.
But Lines never ran at a defence (apart from THAT goal against Cardiff). 99/100... Lines with the ball in space in midfield would set his GPS and head straight for the corner flag. Joking aside, with Sercs a bit of a sick note - Lines could still have done a job alongside Agogo and Upson.

Looking at the inability to make simple passes on tuesday even lines would have stood out like a beacon on a dark night

I'm all for supporting one of our own, and happy to back local lads as much as anyone else, but I have to say something is affecting Ollie and teams form.
Ollie should never have started today because I feel he didn't earn that right from Tues.
No player is undroppable, no one is exempt from criticism.
Ollie should be free to find his own form again, given time to work himself out and play for his place..... today he was poor, and rightly subbed (if only too late).
What's happened? We want our Ollie back (not the f ing Ian)..

I note we were 0-2 down before Clarke was subbed, and we then came back to draw. But he is good. One of our own, don't you know. So please don't critisize him.

And we did not concede after Craig was subbed!

Celtic just gone 2-0 up, is that what you need to know? Heading for their 842nd straight win in all domestic competitions.

Half way through the season, how are the Ollie Clarke stats now?
Thought was interesting that Ogogo was deemed 'rusty' against Dons after a poor performance. Still he managed a Ollie type booking yesterday to endear himself, was he taken off because off the booking, unfit, change shape or just very poor?

I thought Ogogo was a bit hot-headed yesterday and taken off as he looked like getting another yellow. To sub him and bring Nichols on had me scratching my head... I guess the idea was to go more 5-3-1-1 (with our non striking apprentice hair-dresser in behind JCH) as opposed to 5-4-1. To be fair Nichols played a couple of decent balls. But his chance to shine and hit the ball into an empty net... well, we know what happens next.

He stops play to phone RuPaul and ask advice on coordinating highlighted extensions with a suede evening jacket?

Ollie Clarke not played in last 3 games. 1 point, not a single goal from open play, 5 conceded. Just sayin’
