All teams have to ko at the same time for the last game so there is no advantage to anyone knowing what they need to do.
But Fleetwood now have no game that day, their Bury game.
Wonder if there could be a game where two teams playing need a draw to suit their needs and one or both are at the expense of Fleetwood.
Possibly more fallout from this mess by the EFL.

EFL are a mess. The o p makes a good point for fairness.
But away to Gillingham on 3rd May next year, I'm not sure it will directly affect us.

B***** will be sacked by then after the Barnsley incident

Seasons a mess because of EFL, all teams that played and beat Bolton before they managed to sign nearly a whole new team, have effectively a three points and five or six goals advantage.

Seasons a mess because of EFL, all teams that played and beat Bolton before they managed to sign nearly a whole new team, have effectively a three points and five or six goals advantage. But unfortunately that's like all the teams that played Southend before today, 8 defeats out of 10, utter rubbish. It is a fair comment but Bolton were a bit behind Bury in missing their deadlines and just survived. They are still 18 pts off safety as we speak. Sunderland want shooting for drawing with them, it's 11 v 11 and if it was Rovers either beating them 5-0 or just surviving like they did, I would just be happy. We have to think we don't need that kind of luck to win matches, we struggle against 10 men ourselves...

EFL simply unfit for purpose.
Rock up with a big name with history, like Bolton, and you can just not show up for a game because some of your players may be a bit tired.
Try doing that if you are someone like Cheltenham or Newport, you would get hammered.
Anyway, ref Blue Mist's point above, Bolton are still rubbish, last 5 games, L3 D2 W0. It's just that they now have £20m of debt with 6% interest and another £20m coming soon, again, with 6% payable. Hard to see how they are going to get out of this.

The integrity of this division is non existent, you just have to look at the games played by the clubs. The table this season is never going to show the true story until the end. If it wasn’t for the fact that Joey B is Fleetwood manager I’d almost feel sorry for them come the end. But I will probably feel more sorry for the club who gets relegated through goal difference as against a club like Tranmere who spanked Bolton at the beginning. From my reply from the EFL when I wrote to them and a story on the BBC website last week I think news about the punishment for Bolton over the cancelled match last season and the postponement of the Doncaster match this season will be made known in the next few weeks. UTG!

UTG! Agreed. I wonder if the best solution in Bolton's case would be to let the season play out, see where they finish and then relegate them anyway. This may help avoid a club getting relegated through goal difference.

I only hope that the punishment that will be given has the same impact that you’ve said. Perhaps another 12 point penalty? The thing is though their fans will get publicity about it being unfair which I understand, though I don’t agree with. Their failings (and Bury’s) have made this league really unbalanced this season and introduced lots of uncertainty for all clubs, not just them. And that’s not even considering Newport and Mansfield from last season who just missed out on promotion because Bury were spending other people’s money to achieve it. UTG!

Going off on a slight tangent and the FA cup draw for the first round proper in two weeks ,do the FA realise that because of the demise of Bury one lucky team will be given a bye. The team will get £30000 for getting through to the next round without kicking a ball albeit get no gate receipts from the situation. This is another mess that the football authorities need to sort.
