BTW. Any scouts reading this, don’t listen to the idiots about JCH. He’s lazy, runs awkwardly and all he ever does is score. I mean, who would want such a player eh. Don’t waste your time watching him. We may turn him into a better player but give us 4-5 seasons. Really, don’t waste your time.

Those were the ones locked out when the game kicked off because Gorringe is rubbish I'm not saying everything is perfect, but it's got to be said: Princes Trust auction at end of season is rubbish is it, Bambi? I was sat in clubhouse bar yesterday early doors....it went dark outside because of monsoon (probably Gorringe fault)....but the clubhouse bar has been opened up because of Gorringe negotiation and Thatcher's (not Margaret) involvement. All at cost of a sponsorship. The clubhouse was brighter inside these days, and I think the whole club is as a result of Mr Gorringe encumbrance.. Plenty of time, and good reason, to bash Gorringe, let's not drag down a match day thread that should be about a good solid team performance, where, at last, we got the midfield right, and Liam was supurb. Yet again, JCH was worth the admission fee. We'll be lucky to keep him in Jan.

Great player, amazing attitude & loved by our fans when here. Go watch him

A massive leap forward yesterday. First in my opinion is Jaakola, his confidence taking crosses and starting to command his penalty area in stark contrast to his being anchored on his line. Sercs was outstanding and cannot be moved now to include Ollie Clarke. Abu has turned into an absolute monster and Millwall Tony a rock in an improving back three. Victor came on and worked his socks off in the short period available, the fraud on the other hand did nothing apart from nearly cost us the game. JCH is the sort of character that inspires and frankly goads into action those around him apart from hitting the net as often as he does.
18 points on the board, a team spirit clearly growing what a difference compared to where we were the last time we had the same number of points, we are back on the upward spiral, GC is the rock at the helm we have needed for a long time.

I really think we should ask JCH to play in a 'Nichols 10' shirt until the transfer window comes. Has such a trick ever come off?

That's the best I've seen Victor play so far. He won tackles cleanly, set up moves and took up dangerous positions in the box. He looked full of confidence. The 5-3-2 formation allows more expansive football with space to move into and no clogging the midfield. The players seem to be responding positively to it.
Do you think we can make the play off spots ?
Great question, KP.
I tell the truth, some are starting to ask the same questions in pubs. I heard it last night.
My answer is short and sweet: I honestly don't know. This time last year I did..
We need alot more to go for us, we haven't played any of the big teams, Ipswich, Sunderland, Pompey or Fleetwood...(?!)
But there is a few things going for us, JCH mainly. We need a decent inside forward next to him as he does alot alone.
We need strength in depth with personnel on flanks.
We need a decent understudy of proven experience in case injury to back 3.
But..... everything GC has done or had enforced change has worked so far. There isn't one signing he's made I think he got wrong, he's made a significant formation change that seems to have led to organisation in the squad and added fluidity and understanding within the squad. JCH apart, we are a team's team with players made from ordinary club's and individuals, yet for some reason seem to work together really well..... almost like a football alchemy.....and I don't know why!?
It feels a bit like the 1989/90 season, not because of the shirts, because there are no real stars, everyone seems to play well and contribute, and as last week unveiled, different goalscorers.
It may not be pretty, flashy (overhead kick, anyone?), but it's strong, effective and very productive..
Hopefully keep the rythym going into next month and beyond.

'Twas something of a struggle, I'll admit to get iFollow to respond first time. But in return for numbers only now, the highlights streamed to this device of mine.
