Really looking forward to seeing the Chelsea Under 21s tonight. Joe Dunne says he respects the Competition and expects to put out a strong side to enable Rovers to progress. Expect a few fringe players will get an opportunity including Kelly, Menaneyse, Hargreaves, Moore and Hoola.

Might be as well attended as the History Group meetings.

Might be as well attended as the History Group meetings. You know what, that's a tough one to choose. I suppose both attract members that like to look at under age boys.

It was a tough call, to watch Citeh B destroy someone, or Citeh Yut. Nobody sane could argue that there are serious structural issues when a club has 2 teams competing, admittedly in different competitions but still in what are supposed to be competitive fixtures on the same night.

Good call by GC to play a strong line up, to instill a winning habit. Flip that to the comment by Cowley the other day, Huddersfield have forgotten how to win. After 3 wins in a year. You saw it at Sunderland as well.
Even winning the michael mouse games is still a win for the squad, the fringe players who might be needed.

Yes, Chelski played us yesterday and Grimsbury today, but Citeh had 2 games going on at the same time yesterday. Utter nonsense. I totally understand and respect why people wanted to go and watch Rovers last night, fair play to each and every one of them, but we know where this is leading, and it's not a good place.

Some composed performances on the night from Rollin Menayese, Alfie Kigour and Tom Davies who handled the talented pacey Chelsea strikers very well. Sercombe and Upson showed good experience coupled with a few important significant saves from Jordi van Stappershoef. Only on briefly but good experience for our own youngsters Lucas Tomlinson and Deon Moore. An entertaining cup tie.

Did any Chelsea stars of the future play? I saw highlights on the website but of Chelsea all I saw were numbers above 50 on their shirts. Anyone half famous? UTG?

Chelsea have nearly 30 players out on loan (which includes some seniors), and only 14 in the Development Squad according to their site. When that Arsenal U21 side played us as a friendly I checked each player and only Matt Macey 'made it'.

That stat about none of the Arsenal players “making it” is a shocking indictment, imo, on PL football. Still, I suppose the non league teams around London get some good players. Sorry about that comment but for the dream they must have been sold they would have been better turning Arsenal down and going to Barnet, Orient or others if they wanted to develop in football. On the other hand perhaps it made them financially ok. Still poor though. UTG!
